We loved our stay at this charming farm! The beauty and tranquility of this place is beyond words. The houses on the farm are beautifully decorated and the host was super welcoming. The highlight of our stay was definitely the chance to disconnect from daily life and simply enjoy nature. We visited the nearby villages and hiked to the top of the Serra da Estrela, which was an unforgettable experience. We spent our days exploring the vast lands and admiring the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. In the evenings, we kicked back in the hammocks, enjoying the mountain breeze and the sound of birds chirping in the distance. The local cheese was a real treat, it was one of the tastiest cheeses I've ever had! All in all, our stay at this farm was an experience we will never forget. We returned home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I would highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for a natural getaway. Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of paradise with us!

La maison est géniale, le jardin et la piscine sont exceptionnels, la vue incroyable. Vous êtes au calme et dans un cadre naturel splendide pour passer des vacances reposantes et vous ressourcer. Nous avons séjourné chez Rui et nous avons adoré la maison, mieux que dans les photos ! la maison est très belle et ne manque de rien, petit panier de bienvenue très sympa,merci beaucoup ! nous avons été avec notre bébé , ils sont préparés son petit lit avec des couvertures et une serviette spécial pour lui, c'est très sympathique de votre part ☺️ maison très propre et très bien aménagé. c'était une magnifique séjour ! on reviendra ça c'est sûr. Foi um final de semana maravilhoso. Mesmo a vizinhança foi muito acolhedora. Obrigado ao Sr. Manuel pela prova do seu vinho e dos enchidos. Lenha pronta para aquecimento da casa, espaços grandes como a sala que tanto deu para refeições como para as brincadeiras com as crianças ou conversas com os adultos. Decoração super criativa que nos faz sentir em casa. Flexibilidade no check-in e check-out adicionou mais momentos inesquecíveis na casa. Queremos regressar.

Adri and Petra are wonderful hosts. They greeted us personally, provided great information and were very generous and kind. We wish we could have stayed longer, as their place is beautiful. We were surrounded by nature, right in the middle of stunning mountains and hills. It was tranquil and peaceful and great for taking long dog walks or hikes. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

The hosts were very responsive and attentive. We ended up arriving late but they were very kind about it, showed us inside and even helped us find parking. The home is private, cozy, and clean. We only spent one night but it was definitely a good find and good value.

This is a great space in a real out-of-the-way part of Portugal. Tired of big city tourism? Try this property. Tiny villages dot the hills and you get an old world sense of Portugal here. The pool is the real star of the property here (as are Eric's three dogs, one of which lounged with us each morning) as it overlooks he view of the river. We did use the kayaks as well. It is hard to get to them down a very steep hill with ladders and a bit of minor repelling. Not for those with a bad knee or hip. Which gets me to, accessing the apartments, particularly the lower unit, is tricky. Steep, slanting and uneven steps that can be a little slippery. Perhaps not for the elderly. Hint for improvement would be to upgrade the furnishings and kitchenware. The knives couldn't cut an orange.

Estadia simplesmente incrível. O local super sossegado, bom para fugir a correria da cidade. A casa extremamente limpa e corresponde 100% como as fotos. A cozinha é super completa. O Sr. Rui foi um anfitrião impecável. Sinceramente nunca fiquei num sitio tão bom e completo. Vamos sem dúvida repetir no verão.

Adoramos tudo. A Maria Francisca e o marido são pessoas extremamente educadas, prestativas, simpáticas e sempre à disposição. O espaço deles é exatamente como nas fotos. Uma casa não tão moderna, mas com todas as comodidades e conforto. O ar condicionado também é excelente. Recomendo muito e assim que possível, voltaremos.

Million dollar view, amazing area and peaceful place to have a great time to enjoy our vacation

La casa de Francisco es una maravilla: amplia y fresca incluso en agosto, con la piscina delante que es fantástica, y en una finca enorme y fascinante, con miles de cosas que hacer y ver, hasta kayak en el lago que se ha formado en una antigua cantera, o un espacio de arte increíble. Francisco es encantador ( como también su mujer a la que conocí también), amable, disponible y además una persona muy interesante con un proyecto inspirador. La recomiendo a todos!

Eugene was an amazing host, having helped my family get to the accomodation without any problems and always being in touch whenever it was needed and the language barrier wasn't ever an issue as Eugene was able to understand portuguese. Unfortunately due to work I wasn't able to meet such a great human being that made sure to ask how I was to my family, but I can assure that if the opportunity presents itself I wouldn't hesitate to book again and meet him. From my family's description I could say the house is bigger than it looks on the photos, being a great space for some peace and quiet rural family vacations! I reccommend Eugene's listing as a great option if you are looking for a cheap, quiet and family-oriented house.

Thank you Liesbet and João, for the beautiful place to get away and relax surrounded by animals and nature. No city lights so a great place for seeing the stars at night. Liesbet is a very gracious and helpful hostess, great communication. Enjoyed a fantastic horseback ride around the area lead by Joao, a magical ride! Far enough away for a few days or weeks of relaxation surrounded by nature, but it also allows you to do some sightseeing. In an hour drive you can be in Coímbra or Aveiro. Also, nearby you have all kinds of services like restaurants or supermarkets.

We stayed in one of the cottages at the highest point with a beautiful view of the campsite and the high rocks that also belong to the campsite. A beautiful place, even more beautiful than in the pictures. Here you can really relax. The children enjoyed themselves in the ecological swimming pool (among the fish and frogs) and on the trampoline with other children. Jeroen and Linzie do everything to make the stay as pleasant as possible. One real recommendation!

What a wonderful place to enjoy the last stretch of our vacation. We loved the home, village and the proximity the mountains and the fields. Paulo met us in the nearest town and escorted us to the tiny village so we would be sure to arrive happy. He showed us the home and shared some local gifts which we enjoyed over the next days. The house was clean and comfortable and the kitchen provided everything needed to cook meals. We found the area to have soooo much to enjoy that we just have to go back. Paulo gave us some great ideas for next year. We booked our stay with Paulo for next March before we checked out! When you find the perfect place, you secure it. We can’t wait to be back.
