A multitude of historic sights and outdoor activities are catered for in the surrounding area.

Vale do Juiz Farm

This 4-bedroom accommodation is set in a rural space, with a privileged view of Serra da Estrela, located next to the entrance of Seia. This space allows you to view unique landscapes, highlighting the region's vineyards in the surroundings, and visits to farms can be scheduled in order to get an idea of how the wine of the Demarcated Dão Region is produced. We also recommend the region's gastronomy, being able to savor typical products such as Serra da Estrela Cheese and requeijão.

Atualmente reformulado e atualizado, procurámos manter os valores e as pedras estruturais que tanto suportaram esta casa e as gerações que aqui viveram ao longo dos anos. The house is located in Cabeça, a small village right in Serra da Estrela Natural Park. It's only 24km distance to The Torre (Tower), the highest point of Mainland Portugal. We believe there's a little something for everyone in Cabeça, we can accomodate couples, single people, groups up to 6 people, families, and even pets! Breakfast with traditional food is avaliable upon request on reservation.

Novelães is a very quiet village just 5 km from the foot of Serra da Estrela between Gouveia and Seia. The house has a large space with 3 bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests can enjoy silence and peace, walk through the woods and visit the surrounding natural attractions.

Quinta das Sesmarias is located on the urban outskirts of Vila de Alcains, a 3.5-hectare property that maintains the rural characteristics of the early 20th century. The first construction dates back to 1928 and was recovered in 2002 in the form of a villa. Visitors' rest and well-being are ensured by a peaceful environment in contact with nature.

Apenas foi incorporada a inevitável modernidade mas nunca entrando em conflito com a sua arquitectura tradicional.

The Haystack

Panoramic View and Jacuzzi Palheiro is located in the village of Sobral Fernando and is a house dating back to 1936, all of which is built in schist stone. Recently restored, it offers a modern, welcoming environment while preserving the traces of times past. It has a Jacuzzi with water that can be heated on the panoramic balcony.
