A great little unique place to stay. Walking into a basketball court and shooting some hoops. The potential to take a swim. Definitely a one-of-a-kind rental. The bed was comfortable and the accommodations were great. Will definitely stay again in the area.

Gorgeous Garden District Cottage

Kristy was an amazing host! She had snacks and drinks ready for us when we got there. Anything you may have forgotten, she had you covered! The house was so cute, loved the character it had. We slept amazing in the wonderful beds and pillow. Will stay here again if we come back to Monroe!

Pet friendly house with covered parking!

Pros: Very clean, easy access, safe area, cozy stay, awesome shower head, toilet is full size and not a small round one, two TVs so if you have kids you can still watch adult shows, large back fenced in yard to let dogs out, covered carport area right next to entry. Saw it described as "staying at grandma's house" and that is very on the nose. Cons: This list is very nitpicky but if the host wants feedback to increase the quality of the stay, I wanted to pass these along. As a firm bed owner, the king bed is too firm. I would recommend a topper or replacing it with a mattress that is somewhere closer to the middle between "Soft-firm." The fridge was not making ice and the host provided a couple ice trays that were already filled and frozen, but for the cost of the stay I would like to see a better quality refrigerator that provides ice and filtered water. The couch in the living room is dingy and although it was clean there is only so much you can do with an old couch.

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was charming and immaculately clean. Our expectations were exceeded!! The bottle of wine and glasses was so nice and thoughtful ! It was such a wonderful way to begin our stay with glass of chilled delicious wine. We enjoyed our time at the winery where we did our complementary tasting, toured the vineyard, and snacked while listening to the music. Sending a warm thank you to our host! We can’t wait to visit again.

We traveled for a volleyball tournament and it was our first time at Monroe. The home felt at home for all of our guests and we took away many great memories of our trip together. We appreciate all the fast communication and support during our stay. We had a guest leave behind a jersey and they were so helpful in finding it and mailing it back home for us. We were glad to find this place at the last minute. It was a comfortable stay for the 2 of us and we could prepare simple meals. The house is also beautiful and quaintly furnished with local artwork. The neighbourhood is very, very quiet and felt safe. Lyn was very responsive to our questions. Appreciate Lyn’s help to get breakfast for us as we got in very late after a long flight.

Pam's place was one of the most beautiful Airbnbs I have stayed in. The apartment I stayed in was newly renovated and it was gorgeous. It is a literally an old castle with beautiful palace grounds where you can meander throughout day. I had lovely conversations with Pam throughout my stay. I also grew fond of her dog Taetum whom I miss dearly. I would definitely choose this Airbnb over others if I visit Monroe again.

This is a lovely, older home that has been nicely updated. The hosts did not skip any details in making us feel welcome. Home was nicely stocked with all essentials and several unexpected extras. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this location to friends and family. One of the nicer Airbnb experiences we have had.

Great location, lots of room for all guests to have private space (this house is huge). Quiet safe neighborhood. The outdoor screened in porch and backyard are beautiful. Covered parking. Minutes drive to shopping and restaurants. I could go on and on. It was exactly what we expected and such a pleasant experience. Thank you Gary!

Gregory was super responsive and the place is amazing!! My GPS was slightly off on the location, but the address number is marked clearly and my friend’s GPS brought her right there. The rocks in the parking lot when you get down the hill are big (place is still so new) so be careful parking - my friend was able to park her crossover car closest to the place and my truck had no problems. This place had all the utensils, Keurig coffee maker, extra food appliances in the cabinets, and was super clean. Really well done place and super peaceful while still be very close to I-20. Best AirBnB I have stayed at!
