House vacation rentals in Monroe

The area was peaceful and relaxing. It was really beautiful and was the perfect spot for a getaway before spring break was over.

This place was great- actually a lot bigger than we expected. There was a musty smell when we walked in, but thankfully there was Febreeze provided, as well as anything else we needed. We could hear noise from the people and dogs upstairs, but I didn’t mind. I would definitely stay again.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The home was gorgeous and so clean. The appliances in the kitchen were new and easy to use. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony and watching the stillness of the water. The kids loved the game room and enjoyed playing ping pong. We all walked to the deck and went fishing and we caught about 5 fish! 🤗 The kids were so excited about that. We threw them back into the lake though.. The kids loved their room which had bunkbeds & all 5 kids were able to stay in the same room which was really fun for them. The bathtubs have steamy hot water! Most of all, I loved the small intricate details like the cross in the hallway, small angel statues in the kids room, and the books they chose for the bookshelf. I am so impressed with the intentionality they took with their home. 💕The owners are so friendly and sweet. We would definitely stay again.👍

House was exactly what we needed for a fun baseball trip. Next time we come we home the house is available for us.

From the moment we pulled into the driveway we knew we had made the right choose. Everything, I mean everything is perfection. Carol and Will have paid special attention to every detail. Everything is labeled and exactly as described in the listing. I spent every morning on the screened back porch bird watching. How great is that! We loved it and look forward to returning. This was our 2nd stay and we went back because the property is in a perfect location for us, the rooms are large and Ginger has thought of everything. We highly recommend her place. We felt comfortable arriving late at night, it was very peaceful and she has it fixed up super nice! We will be back for sure when we travel to that area.

From the beginning, hosts were proactive in making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They were so kind to let us check in an hour early so we could make it to a wedding rehearsal on time. They were easy to communicate with and very responsive. The home was spotless and well-equipped. We would definitely stay there again when in the area.

What a lovely, comfortable house! The neighborhood is centrally located and Chandler is an excellent host. Definitely my very first choice when I visit Monroe.

Great place. We played in Sterlington all weekend. 15 minute straight shot to the ballpark. Comfortable beds, huge TV’s and a big field to practice in. Great stay.

The big screen TV in the master bedroom was a fantastic bonus for cozy night in. The host was amazing with quick and helpful responses, making everything so easy. We had a great stay at this lake house. The view of the lake was beautiful. The house was very nice, clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. Dee was very informative concerning checking in and out of house and making sure that we had everything we needed. Plan to revisit again.

Great, quiet place! We were close by where we needed to be and town was not that far away. Everything was pretty clean. The beds seemed like they had a ton of fuzzys and dirt under the covers but we think it was just from the blanket.

The home was spacious, clean, and full of warmth. The amenities included were things I would not have thought of. The owners' hospitality exceeded my expectations. I would rebook this home the next time I am in town. I have nothing negative to say about this stay.

The death of my mother-in-law caused us to need a place to stay with little notice. Shawn was so accommodating to change settings so I could book same day and allowed us to have a late check out to accommodate the funeral time. The host went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable, and it was perfect for my adult children to be with us and spacious enough to accommodate the whole family for lunch the day of. My daughter and I got up early and went for a walk in the neighborhood and it was an easy commute to restaurants. As a Realtor, I was enamored with the character and charm of the home! Very well decorated home and super clean.
