Cabin vacation rentals in Monkey Island

The space was beautiful and comfortable. Hot tub was clean and hot! 💜 I enjoyed the privacy of the valley this home is nestled in. There were neighbors, but it still felt private.

Raymond and the co-hosts were very responsive and answered questions I had before I reserved the property. We felt at home and enjoyed the hot tub and walking down to the dock. Would stay again!

Great location. The house and amenities were nice. It had everything we needed. We used the kitchen and the grill to cook. We had a house full of people (and a dog) and we never felt cramped. The three full bathrooms really helped out!

Had a great time here. This was our third time to stay here. That should tell you something.

This was the perfect little cabin for a very quick getaway. It was clean, easy to get to, comfortable and very cozy. Hoss was great to work with and was flexible with what I needed. I would definitely recommend and will be back!

Loved this cabin! There is a lovely trail on the property with lots of trees and a stream. We walked it 2x a day! Our dogs loved it and they didn’t have to be on a leash which they loved. There’s also a stream where you can fish or kayak. It’s very peaceful and a great place to take a break from all the noise of the city. The only negative is there’s not a lot to do in town (besides go to the lake if you have boat) although there is a place about 15 minutes away where we took our daughter horseback riding. It was fine though bc we didn’t want to do many activities but relax. Shay was very sweet and left us a jam packed snack basket, cookies, and a plant! So sweet! Def recommend if you are looking for a scenic, cozy, quiet cabin getaway.

This is my second stay at The Shack. Anthony is a great host with superb communication! The location is great for needing supplies, 5-10 minutes from fantastic lake locations to enjoy. Truly appreciate the peaceful location and having the options of family dinners, plus the room the cabin offers. The Shack is filled with modern appliances, fantastic hot water, nestled in a cabin style home. Truly enjoy everything about it and will be returning!

We enjoyed staying at LEE‘s place. The staff she has working there is exceptional. It was an entire family that was extremely helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and then some they were extremely accommodating and gave us great recommendations on things to do in the area, as well as giving us a great price for boat rental for the day which we enjoyed fishing off of and enjoying the scenic lake!! We will definitely be staying here again.

Was a cute little A-framed cabin. Very clean upon our arrival and Joe was quick to answer any questions I had by text. We loved being able to see so much wildlife. There were many deer, foxes, squirrels and beautiful birds to watch. Our stay was in the latter part of July and it was very hot. Would be great to stay again when the temperatures are much cooler!

What wonderful hosts. They had all the ingredients for root beer floats , which hit the spot for those hot summer days. House was just as shown in the pictures. It was just right for the two of us. Thanks for a great stay.

Great cabin by the lake for a good price. Would highly recommend it. The private dock was pretty cool!

Terri was an exceptional host. Whenever I had a question, they responded promptly and efficiently. It was my first time using an Airbnb, and I found the experience to be truly remarkable.

Easy check in, good communication with host. Very clean. Kitchen is well-stocked with basic utensils, but be sure to bring everything else. In the winter, be sure to pack some games and things to do as this location does not have anything like that. The location has a hotel feel to it in the bedroom (but not the kitchen/living space.) The bathroom was very nice. We enjoyed the large windows looking at the lake. The cabin is close to other cabins, yet still private. Everything was brand new and perfect. This cabin does not have easy access to the lake.
