We recommend this place without a second thought. The town of Isigny sur mer is close to the Airborne museum and DDay museum. All merchants (bakery, pharmacy, creperie, brewery, crossroads market,cheese shop... ) are within walking distance and supermarkets, within 10 mins. The little extra for the children: the base of Loisirs behind the crossroads market access on foot fácile and secure. There is a lot of fun games for the kids. We really enjoyed the bedding, storage, wifi and some board games available. François was great throughout the stay and answered all our questions very quickly: he let us know that he is there for us throughout the stay and that we don't mind 😊 We'll keep the listing in our favorites and hope to be back soon.

Very good cottage! Ideal base for exploring the region. We were 2 adults and 3 children between 7 and 11 years old. The cottage is big enough and very cozy with the wood stove. Everything is available. Nice garden for the children and beautiful wide views. The ping pong table , bbq and vegetables from the vegetable garden were nice extras . Very friendly reception by the hostess and host.

The place was just as advertised. Clean, basic, all you need for a short stay.

We had an amazing stay with our young baby at Samuelle's place. The converted farmhouse building has a lot of character but was also modern and comfortable. The lake and ducks outside the door was very relaxing. The location is very quiet and peaceful. A car is essential for getting to local amenities but a large supermarket and a bakery are only a 5 minute drive away. The D Day landing beaches, museums and historic town of Bayeux can be reached within an easy 20 minute drive. Samuelle was a great host, she was very friendly and always able to help with any questions.
