Lake house vacation rentals in Mondsee

Constanze's spacious lakeside home was a gem of a find! An idyllic location; gardens leading down to the jetty & lake ; amazing views across to mountains; excellent scenic walks to either end of the lake; train station 5 minutes walk away with regular, reliable service to Salzburg & elsewhere. We made the best use of this beautiful house & location & the wood burning stove was very much appreciated on the cooler evenings! Constanze was a great host, was there to meet & greet us & with excellent communication via phone too & we have no hesitation in recommending her lovely home.

Check-in went smoothly, communication was pleasant and the house + garden were very charming and clean.

I had vacation here with family in May. This place was beyond my expectation. Inside the house we had everything we needed. Outside the house there are gorgeous views, bike, grill, boat. Host is very nice and friendly, he took us from train station and back on a car. Also there is a far farm on the oposide side of the road with cows, hourses, goats and lovely dog. We had a very great time here.

Everything about this place was perfect! Conveniently located next to a cute cafe that served breakfast early. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The bathroom was very nice and staff were very helpful and friendly!

The house is very comfortable, but more importantly provides a genuine Austrian experience. The interior and furniture is comfortable and authentic. it is situated directly on the lake walk. we enjoyed seeing cows outside the window, and snow capped mountains. This is an area of Austria you should not miss!

We didn't miss anything at all. The comfort offered on site is truly exceptional and makes the stay extra special. Hot tub and sauna offered perfect opportunities to relax. We will be happy to come back! Many thanks for everything!

In all of my travels, this by far has been one of the very best experiences. The wonderful hosts, Martin & Karin are the most responsive, hospitable, accommodating and friendly hosts I’ve ever dealt with. The house is a traditional style home fully equipped with all amenities. It’s spotlessly clean and situated in a peaceful street with amazing views of the mountains. We stayed with our two children (8 and 12 years) over New Year's Eve for a week in the beautiful vacation home of Sonja and Klaus. The house lacks nothing. It is very well equipped and very lovingly and tastefully decorated. Even a foosball table and a small pool table are available in the basement and were played diligently by us. The location of the vacation home is very good. Within walking distance to Lake Chiemsee. A car parking space is available in the carport - nice if you don't have to scrape in winter. Sonja and Klaus are very friendly and likeable owners. If necessary, they are happy to give tips for the area and current events. We will be happy to come back!

This is one of the nicest Airbnb properties that we have stayed it. It was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Rouven gave us lots of helpful tips of places to visit which made our holiday better. The location was excellent for visiting Salzburg and the surrounding lakes. There was loads of space at the property for a family of 4 and the garden was lovely.

Bernhard was a very good and friendly host. The self-check-in worked smoothly. Bernhard was absolutely reliable for questions. The apartment exceeded our expectations, especially considering the size and is a great starting point for excursions towards Salzburg and the surrounding area. For visitors with smaller children, it is worth noting that the sleeping area is designed as a gallery. This can be seen from the photos, but we were kind of surprised - but definitely positive in our case. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked for our needs, we were also very pleased about the Nespresso coffee machine and corresponding capsules (guest gift). The accommodation was a good base for our wonderful holiday.

Yagaweh, this is pure vacation and relaxation! A beautiful house in a beautiful place...secluded location, hikes from the front door, views of the lake, crazy sunsets and jealous three watching hikers ;) We had a great time and were lovingly looked after by the host all around. Thank you!

What a wonderful view around this apartment. The apartment definitely met our expectations. It was sparkling clean and everything we needed was present. Excellent base for day trips, mountain hiking, etc. Gerald and his wife are very nice and helpful people. Many thanks, we loved our stay with you. As far as we are concerned, recommended.
