Lake house vacation rentals in Mondsee

Constanze's spacious lakeside home was a gem of a find! An idyllic location; gardens leading down to the jetty & lake ; amazing views across to mountains; excellent scenic walks to either end of the lake; train station 5 minutes walk away with regular, reliable service to Salzburg & elsewhere. We made the best use of this beautiful house & location & the wood burning stove was very much appreciated on the cooler evenings! Constanze was a great host, was there to meet & greet us & with excellent communication via phone too & we have no hesitation in recommending her lovely home.

I can echo other reviews- this place is just lovely- quiet, clean, spectacular views, and the friendliest kindest host you can hope to find! Absolutely loved our time Hallstatt and so glad we stayed the night, as our stroll through the quiet town after the day’s busyness was just magical! You will not regret staying here:)!

We enjoyed the days very much and felt very comfortable. The children also had a lot to discover and they also enjoyed it very much. We were 3 families and the house had plenty of room for us. Thank you for letting us be there.

We had a wonderful stay! Anneliese was very friendly and accommodating. The house offered plenty of space for our group of 10, exactly as described. The beds were comfortable and also well suited for larger people. Only the kitchen equipment was a bit spartan, but that didn't affect our stay. We will be happy to come back!

Great place with a magnificent terrace and lake access

Excellent stay in peaceful village surrounded with mountains. Turquoise water lake is in a short walking distance. Olesja and her husband were extremely friendly and hospitable and all information about local attractions were provided. Very pleasant stay! Definitely will return to Hintersee on my next visit! In all of my travels, this by far has been one of the very best experiences. The wonderful hosts, Martin & Karin are the most responsive, hospitable, accommodating and friendly hosts I’ve ever dealt with. The house is a traditional style home fully equipped with all amenities. It’s spotlessly clean and situated in a peaceful street with amazing views of the mountains. The place was very clean, stylishly furnished and located in a quiet and beautiful location – perfect for relaxing. Silvia is an extremely friendly and attentive host who took care of everything. As a surprise, there was even a small guest gift. We will be happy to come back!

This is one of the nicest Airbnb properties that we have stayed it. It was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Rouven gave us lots of helpful tips of places to visit which made our holiday better. The location was excellent for visiting Salzburg and the surrounding lakes. There was loads of space at the property for a family of 4 and the garden was lovely.

Bernhard was a very good and friendly host. The self-check-in worked smoothly. Bernhard was absolutely reliable for questions. The apartment exceeded our expectations, especially considering the size and is a great starting point for excursions towards Salzburg and the surrounding area. For visitors with smaller children, it is worth noting that the sleeping area is designed as a gallery. This can be seen from the photos, but we were kind of surprised - but definitely positive in our case. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked for our needs, we were also very pleased about the Nespresso coffee machine and corresponding capsules (guest gift). The accommodation was a good base for our wonderful holiday.

Christoph's place is immaculate and as described in the photos. Communication with Christoph was very easy as well as check-in. Very nice place to stay overall :)

sadly we had to cancel our trip at the last minute for health reason, but until the last moment the communication with Hans was perfect and he seems to be a really nice and caring host, I can only recommend it.

Yagaweh, this is pure vacation and relaxation! A beautiful house in a beautiful place...secluded location, hikes from the front door, views of the lake, crazy sunsets and jealous three watching hikers ;) We had a great time and were lovingly looked after by the host all around. Thank you!
