We love Salida and this location was absolutely perfect - right along the Monarch path and easy access to downtown shopping and restaurants. Also close to parks/playgrounds for my young kids who were traveling with us. The house is quaint, but has everything you need. Lots of beautiful sunlight and a great spot for a quick spring break getaway. Host was responsive and very helpful. We'll be back!

Beautiful place inside and outside. Lots to look at and very relaxing. Be aware of a dirt drive uphill. The road is well packed down but would have been harder in a smaller car. But if you are looking to have quiet and away from the busy area this is where to go!

This house was a great size for two families to fit comfortably. It was in walking distance to the river, the park, and town plus an easy drive to Monarch Mountain. Great spot for spring break .... We would definitely book again!

Convenient Salida Stay- Our stay was everything that was advertised and more! The proximity to great shopping, restaurants, and art galleries was just what we were looking for. Even though right downtown, the location was quiet and serene all hours of the day. The nostalgia of The Palace Hotel location added to the accommodations and overall experience. Thank you!

Very nice cabin, beautiful, quiet, and secluded. Clean, well kept. The jets in the tub didn't work, which would have been nice after snowboarding all day. the gas fireplace was amazing. loved our stay!

Wow such a gorgeous getaway with some amazing views of the prettiest mountain peaks in Colorado! The house had everything you could need being away from home! Super relaxing and the most amazing pillows! Really enjoyed this place even being on a long work trip there was still time for some peacefulness at this amazing house! We had an absolutely lovely stay here. The house itself is situated with a fantastic view out the front across the plain and the back face the local mountain range making for an idyllic spot. The house itself is very new and nicely appointed. The kitchen was very well appointed while the living and were comfortable and tastefully decorated. All this and close to the great sand dunes park makes it a place we hope to return to again.

I booked this cabin for my wife’s birthday. It was 12 minutes away from the Royal Gorge Route Railroad and tons of cute shops and restaurants. It was about 5 minutes away from the Dinosaur exhibit, which is great if you’re traveling with kids. The view was beautiful and the place was just as pictured. I will say that I wish there was a shade on the sliding windows and the front door.. as there was a lot of otherwise beautiful natural light coming in even at night. There’s a door for the bedroom and as long as you close it, you’ll have the best sleep ever- regardless. The location was peaceful and had a playground plus a seasonal hot tub & pool. The host was very responsive and gave a detailed check-in and check-out guide that was easy to follow. They left us sparkly juice and chocolates which I thought was a sweet way to welcome us into the cabin. We recommend this stay.

We had a great stay and bet comfortable accommodations! Great location , close to all restaurants and stores in downtown Salida, the river and trails by S Mountain. Love all the windows and the great views of town and the mountains. Wish we could stay longer!
