Words can’t describe the peacefulness and tranquility of this place! If you love peace and quiet and enjoy nature’s beauty, this is the place for you! Hanging out on the deck, sitting in the hot tub and just enjoying the scenery with my husband for our 22nd anniversary was just what we needed! The bed was comfy and the toilet seat was amazing haha! The perfect getaway for us! We will definitely be back!

Wish we could have stayed longer! We only stayed two nights, but enjoyed it! We were out all day with friends in mobile, but it was nice to come back at night to quiet, and peaceful! My family and I are from the country, so we love the quiet and cherish it! This home was just that! Very peaceful! Thank you for being an amazing hope and can’t wait to come back!

The Mardi Gras house was perfect for my colleagues and my stay in Mobile. It is very spacious, clean, and well presented. In a quiet neighbourhood a short walk away from the nightlife of dauphine street. I would definitely stay there again.

We loved staying at the Dan de Lion- it felt like we were visiting friends! We enjoyed hanging out on the dock watching birds and jumping fish and seeing turtles and rabbits in the yard. We were in town for my niece’s wedding and 6 of us stayed together. Plenty of room, well sticked and very comfortable. Loved the historic nature of the place- nothing cookie cutter about it!

We came here for a weekend getaway with our two Bernese mountain dogs! The place was super dog friendly and the little gated lawn was really nice. It’s super close to the beach… about a 1 minute walk away! The place has everything we needed and we were super comfortable! Beach was pet friendly and every single person we encountered was kind and welcoming as well. Place has great views from both porches!

This was a beautiful place to stay!! We loved the way it was decorated. We loved all the rooms in the house!!! Many mirrors for the ladies to get ready 🙂 The fire place was beautiful in the bedroom and we loved having remotes for the ceiling fans. Super cool spot. There is a place called Big Bad Breakfast not to far away, highly recommend! We went twice! Great location. Host was great communicating with me as well. All in all 5 stars for sure!!!

The house is beautiful! Having a private beach is the way to go! We had a small issue with the coffee maker not working and Tony was quick to respond. He had a new Keruig/coffee maker to us in no time. You just have to experience Beacon Light for yourself to really appreciate it! You do not need to bring extra supplies with you, as Tony has it all! A kitchen fully stocked with all appliances and utensils, beach chairs and toys for the kids, beach towels, games for the family, gas grill for cooking, and so much more. Truly worth visiting and experiencing!

The house is so cozy and only steps away from the beach! It’s had two great porches with views of the ocean. There are all the amenities of home. I forgot to bring my fan (I travel with it because I like the noise) and they had several available for use. There are two great swings under the house along with an outdoor shower. Paul was very quick to communicate and a very helpful host. I will definitely be back!

A great place to stay for a great river view and water access. The house was well-stocked; the kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and living space. The bunk room has beds for at least 4 kids or people. We had a lot of good visiting with our friends. The main bedrooms, being all on one floor with no stairs, was helpful to our retired friends who would have struggled with stairs.

Blake's place it terrific! It is quiet, spacious, and feels new. Everything we needed was there (soap, paper towels, etc.,) and the place is spotless. I highly recommend this stay. We only spent a couple nights and were short on time, so we did not get to take advantage of simply relaxing here and utilizing the rocking chairs on the patio or the sofa on the deck - maybe next time...

Centrally located with all the necessities. Even a phonograph with vinyl for your listening pleasure. Came down for a birding trip and it was close to all of the hotspots. The owner was so easy to contact and communicated clearly. We would definitely stay in this house again on a future trip!
