Vacation rentals in Mobberley

Just what we needed for a fantastic week in the Peaks, near to so many lovely walks as well as being warm, very clean and well equipped. Extremely good communication from the host before our arrival - including lots of information about the area. Really appreciated all the touches provided to make our stay a home from home, including fresh ground coffee and shower gel. Thank you so much!

This cottage was perfect for us - 2 couples with small children. Louise gave us loads of information before we arrived, and her husband greeted us shortly after we arrived. It was such an easy stay with small children, we had everything we needed, and the stair gate made life so easy! There were lots of lovely touches like providing snacks, coffee and jams. And Louise even provided some glasses for the solar eclipse!! The surroundings are really peaceful and the kids loved the 2 Shetland ponies in the field opposite. There are lots of options for walks from the cottage, or a short drive away. The Black Lion pub did a great roast dinner. I found there was so much thought put into the stay and Louise was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

We booked this as a family trip for three for Easter. We arrived and found the property easily by following the instructions sent. There is one car parking space provided which was a decent size, we have previously had issues with tiny air bnb spaces. Easy access as there is a key pad on the door. The property itself matches the pictures, is clean and has a well equipped kitchen. Beds were comfy so was the sofa for sitting watching tv. The only criticism I could make is that some of the ceilings are low for me at 6ft 2 so watch your head haha. The hosts were great and communicated well and the location is absolutely spot on, walking distance to bars and restaurants and a short drive to the zoo and Cheshire Oaks. Would highly recommended!

Great location for Alton Towers. Apartment was clean and spacious and in a great location. Lots of shops and food places nearby. Would recommend to friends and stay again.

Alders cottage is a cosy cottage with beautiful interior and a cosy garden which we enjoyed our dinner and ice lollies on. The view is spectacular and the neighbours are really friendly. Although the description of the property says that it is not suitable for children, we took our four children and they loved it; there aren’t any stair gates and the stairs are creaky (for when you want to sneak out of the bedroom during bedtime), however, there were no concerns for the safety of our children. There is a supermarket a short drive away and a local corner shop a 2 minute walk away. Felicity’s responses have been swift and she is very friendly and accommodating. I’d lost my AirPods in the property and without hesitation, Felicity did what she could to get them back to me, as quick as possible. If you’re looking for a break from the city, or need a calm place before going to Alton Tower, I would very much recommend Alders cottage.

This was our second time staying at this lovely Airbnb and once again we had a wonderful, relaxing stay! The place is spotless and is within walking distance of the beautiful town of Buxton. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the local area!

What a lovely little cottage, very clean and tidy and well stocked with everything you need in a home away from home. Little touches like the forget me not box and honesty box with holiday essentials should you forget anything (which we did!) was welcomed. Check in and out couldn’t have been easier and the shortbread biacuits and bottle of fizz was a nice touch Beautiful walks literally on the doorstep and easy access to the Tissington trail make this cottage a great place to stay in the Peaks.

We had the best stay here, the lodge was beautiful and had even better views. We loved every morning looking out at the views through the window above the bed. It had everything we needed and the guide was very helpful for local pubs and taxi information. Loved the selection of DVDs as well. We will be back!

We had such a perfect stay at Little Lilac Cottage! It was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with everything we needed, and Abi was so kind and helpful throughout. The location was incredible (right in the centre of the village) and it was great to have a driveway due to how popular the area is with visitors, making the local roads quite challenging to park on. Such a perfect base to explore the Peak District from and definitely somewhere we would stay again and recommend to anyone! Thank you Abi!
