Our cottage is located on the outskirts of the village of Ostrý, which is surrounded by vast pastures and forests of the natural park Jistebnická vrchovina. Previously, there was a farmhouse with only stables and nesting swallows. Around the cottage is a large natural garden that we partially use as an ornate garden. On one side the garden is finished with a pond, a road and a neighboring house, on the other side it passes into an open landscape. A cat lives in the garden and in the house and in the yard of a chicken.

Beautiful, newly renovated and newly furnished vacation home on a great property, at a good price. Overall a bit remote, but still easy to find. For one night, it was perfect for us (2 adults and 1 child) to drive to Prague the next morning. (less than an hour from the capital). Unfortunately, we were no longer able to try the restaurant next door, as we arrived at 9:30 pm and the kitchen had already closed. But the Lidl is very close 😁 We are more than happy to recommend!

A great place to stay in a quiet and picturesque setting. The cottage is spacious (even for 5 people) and functionally furnished. It has the charm of an old cottage, but is modernly equipped and comfortable. The children enjoyed the garden and the playground at the nearby village square. There are great walks and trips to do in the area. In Nová Vožica, which is a short walk, you can shop for good food. We definitely recommend it.

A great accommodation with special furnishings for a few nights. The kitchen is quite small and the roof beams a little low for tall people, but there is everything you need.

A wooden front door with a peephole and modern locks is framed by a glass entrance. The door is set against a textured wall with a light yellow hue, accompanied by tiled flooring and a welcome mat positioned in front.

The house is an old one but with all the comfort which makes the stay perfect. The rooms are cosy and a delight with the stove and the bed on the top. I did not miss anything and enjoyed the talkes with Jeník. The family are easy going people and I can highly recommend Jeník, his family and the very nice accomodation. The region of South Bohemia is very good for hiking and there are endless hiking paths which are well signed. One can visit some castles, castle ruins and monasteries. The castle in Orlik and the monastery in Milevsko are well known and impressive but these are only two of them. The region and Jeník are waiting for visitors try and enjoy it.

Glamping - Secluded Shepherd's Hut in Nature

Jan's place is very very nice, we enjoyed the time together with our dog there. It is very quiet, you can enjoy the nature and the many lakes. We often made a fire in the evening, used the pizza oven and had breakfast on the terrace. The shepherd's wagon is simple and very cozy, you can cook well and we slept well. Water for the outside shower is available in the village at a source 5 minutes by car. We will be happy to come back!
