The house is very easy reachable via public transportation; the post-van is 5 minutes to go, with direct connection to St. Gallen (with an overall travel time of 30 minutes). The apartment itself is in the basement of an old Stickerhaus, that is an embroiderer house where once the famous embroidery of the region have been manufactured. We guarantee leisurely days in an unconventional place.

The accommodation is on Appenzellerstrasse, from Gais to Appenzell. The house is bright and offers plenty of space for 3-4 people on the ground floor and first floor. It is a patrician house; the ceilings are higher (2.20 m) than typical Appenzell houses. The kitchen is fully equipped. 2 high chairs for children/baby cots are available. Dogs are welcome. Please register. Hiking trails start as soon as you cross the street. Important: There is also a separate listing on Airbnb for renting the entire part of the house (8 people).

The studio is located on the first floor, has its own private entrance, and is completely separate from our living area, except for the shared staircase. The breathtaking view over the Alpstein, hills and the countryside also invites you to hike, exercise and walk. Also for winter sports holidays with snowshoeing, cross-country skiing or sledding. With us you can escape everyday life and get a taste of country life. You are also welcome to get an insight into our farm, not far from the vacation home. Fresh milk directly from the cow and eggs from our chickens can be purchased from us.

Bungalow with a dream view LOMA BUENA VISTA

Holiday cottage on the sunny slope with beautiful views. After a short but somewhat steep walk to the bungalow, you can enjoy the view of the Alpstein with our local mountain, the Säntis, on a cozy terrace. There are many walking and hiking opportunities directly from the house. Please note: From the parking lot, it is about 100 m on foot relatively steep up the hill to the beautifully located bungalow on the edge of the forest.
