Cottage vacation rentals in Mitchell's Bay

This home was perfect for our girls getaway. There was so much room to accommodate all of us. The house was well equipped with everything wee needed. The hosts were great. Our visit was the weekend after Labor day. Many of the local establishments have limited hours after the holiday. Plan accordingly. This did not have an affect on our stay, but did change our daily plans a little.

Peaceful lodgings, beautiful location. You will travel a little to find restaurants/wineries but the location is secluded, quiet, and right on the lake. Only thing that would recommend is that we did have one night where we came back to cluster flies in the house. Make sure all doors/windows firmly closed when you leave. Other than that the stay was delightful

Was the best Airbnb we have ever done. The host thought of everything and the house was equipped with everything need for a perfect stay. Stephanie was very responsive to all our questions. Definitely coming again.

We stayed the weekend for a girl's trip. It was perfect because there were 5 bedrooms all with comfy beds, and there were more bathrooms than we thought! Nice big kitchen to cook in. We loved that the hot tub was closed in by a gated wooden shed and had a gazebo overtop. It made it so we could hang out despite it being a windy, snowy, February night. We had just enough living space to hang out in as well, for 5 adults. Though there was a bit more on the upper level we didn't use tons. We would definitely come back.

The view was beautiful and the house was so cute and cozy. They clearly put effort into every detail to ensure that their guests had everything they needed.

Very private and comfortable. Very quiet at all times of the day.

Tracy is an excellent host and the place was really neat with lots of beautiful scenery. A nesting bald eagle nearby was often in view. This peaceful home away from home was fantastic for me and my pups

Beautiful house , lots of things to do. Great games and movie set up, and an absolutely amazing view. If you are looking for a place to relax , and unwind this is the place. Amazing lake view to see wonderful sunrises and sunsets. Hosts were friendly, helpful right from the start of the process through the end of our visit.

Just spend a very relaxing week at LIana’s lake front cottage. We all had a wonderful vacation. There is a beautiful deck and hot tub to enjoy the views of Lake Erie in the backyard. It also has its own little beach where you can go for a swim everyday to cool off. It is so quiet with the only sound being the breeze coming off the water. Check in was very smooth and LIana was such a wonderful host. Anytime I had a question before and during our stay she got back to me right away. It definitely felt like home away from home and I loved the fact that it was also dog friendly so I could bring my dog with us. My dog had a blast on the beach going swimming everyday. All in all a great experience that I would definitely recommend. Thanks again LIana for everything. We all enjoyed our stay and were very sad to leave.

The Urban Cottage was a lovely get away for my husband, myself and our pup! The outdoor area is very spacious with areas for our dog to run loose! She loved it in the back open field area! We were introduced to the space and given keys by Steve. He was nice and informative. It is not self check in so you will tell them it ETA. Sarah was nice via messaging as well. You felt immediately comfortable! The space has a fun vibe and I enjoyed journaling and drinking tea out by the creek at the outdoor table. I found the cemetery very nice behind the property, there were people who use the trail back there, we didn’t explore it ourselves. The shower was small but nice and had shampoo, conditioner and soap. Everything was very clean. The Keurig was an added bonus and there were a lot of plates, bowls, utensils and cups! The bed was very comfy and the comforter was really warm! We had a great sleep! The photos are all accurate and it is decorated beautifully. Thank you for a wonderful stay! A+!

Megan and Vlad’s place is set on a beautiful bluff. No words can explain how gorgeous their lot is. If you want an escape away from the city is this is the place to be. They weren’t kidding about the bugs but you get used to it. It ain’t the countryside without bugs after all. Will definitely come back in the future. The cabin is clean, spacious, and homey which is what you need for a perfect getaway. Bonus, there is the farm just in front of the cabin to add to the quintessential vibe of the place.

The cottage at Mitchell’s Bay was perfect. Clean and comfortable with a great kitchen and a few minutes from the boat ramp. We will be back if the hosts will have us

This place was great! We really enjoyed being able to walk or ride scooters to the park, store, and restaurant. The little community was just great and the neighbors were all very friendly. Loved that it had tons of amenities! Ample kitchen supplies, extra fridge in the garage, cornhole, croquet, etc. Having the dock slip to park our boat was also a huge bonus. Would love to return here again and highly recommend. Caught my personal best Muskie and smallmouth on the trip as well, so good fishing can be found close by.

our family truly enjoyed our stay at Cottarie cottage. it was conveniently located near any local attractions. the local beach, five minute walk from the cottage, is great. we suggest walking halfway up the beach to get a spot with no rocks in the water... highly recommend this place.

Perfect little getaway for our family of four. We especially enjoyed watching the golfers while we enjoyed our morning coffee. Seven minute drive to town if we needed to pick anything up. Beautiful golf course to play. Enjoyed fishing and also the public pool. Water was the perfect temperature!! Thanks again, Al. We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was cosy and comfortable.

Excellent value!! The waterfront location can’t be beat! Close to shops and restaurants, farm stalls. We went to Greatview Orchard and Bayside Brewpub. Both excellent. Cottage yard is outstanding. The dock area is fenced off for little ones. No issues with my 1.5 & 4 year old getting onto the dock. Fire pit area and domed atrium were added bonus. We opened all the 3doors to atrium at day and closed at night. Great area for eating meals or doing activities. Of note, No swimming for kids in front near dock. No beach and no stairs. We used beach very close by which is huge with kids park. Interior is well stocked, spacious and comfortable. 3 bedrooms, two with queens and one with two doubles. The master has a half bath ensuite ! Bonus. Of note, areas in the home do require some TLC, notedly the main bath. Toilet wasn’t flushing properly and shower temperatures were very hot, handle off. Couldn’t get colder unless you ran for a while.Exterior could use a tiny bit of upkeep and a declutte

Our family had a great stay in Erieau. The cottage’s location was ideal. We had fun playing games around the island in the kitchen. Also appreciated being close to the water. Spent a lot of time at the beach and in the lake because it was a hot week! Thank you to Brian for being available to answer our questions and ensure we were comfortable.

Wonderful spacious house nearby the beach in a quiet and beautiful neighbourhood in Chatham. Honestly, we all loved it. The layout and rooms were just the right size for all of the guests. The front parlour is a great place to sit with wine and music or just a book and enjoy the atmosphere of the house and the surrounding area. The kitchen was very well stocked with just about anything we could ever use, the bathroom was incredibly clean when we arrived. I was amazed, and so was everyone else in our party. The backyard area is gorgeous and very relaxing. It looks over a huge field with wind turbines (which are far away and of no concern whatsoever). It was so tranquil and peaceful to be with nature and again so close to the water. The firepit in the backyard was very handy. We had lots of room to play with my daughter (who is 5 yrs-old). We didn't get around to using the barbeque however, but we saw it was there and ready to use at our convenience. Everything was well placed, and in view in the house. Kristen was an excellent host, and never bothered us once, and she was ALWAYS ready to take our call or help out if we needed something looked after. Kristen was super easy to deal with. Also there are some really friendly neighbours too. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed the night after my nieces grad party over on the north channel. Really cute carriage house that was perfect to escape my family and get a good nights sleep. Beautiful view and lake access. Wish we could have had time to enjoy it more. Oh and there is a cute laminated news article about the history of Harsens Island in the bathroom that was fun to learn about!
