apartment is very Peaceful and sea beach very near also shopping centre you can walk by yourself . garden very clean and beautiful. our family spend very nice time together at the apartment. Specially with papa everything is best There was a lake just next to the garden. Highly recommend. we will come back again soon.

We spent 7 nights in this Villa and left very happy! Beautiful garden and nature, great location. Kavindu was very helpful and response very quickly to any request:) Almost in front of the villa Murphy restaurant has very good food! 👍

We had a great stay at Bandula’s villa! Bandula was so helpful and friendly. The place was clean and perfectly located. We would 100% stay here again if we came back to Sri Lanka

We loved our stay at Puzzle Beach House. The place is right on the beach and plus it’s just off the main road, so it was easy to get around. The house itself was really comfortable and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway with friends—and a five-year-old who had the best time! What really made the experience special, though, were Suresh and Udesh, the caretakers. They were just amazing—always around when we needed something, but never in the way. They struck that perfect balance of being helpful and present, without ever intruding on our space. That really stood out to all of us. And the food, wow. Everything they cooked for us was not just delicious, it was honestly better than what we had at most of the cafes outside. You could tell it was made with a lot of care, and it really made a difference. All in all, this was one of those stays where everything just felt right. A huge thanks to Suresh and Udesh & Dale for making it a memorable experience.

C'est très calme, le train à côté ne nous a pas du tout dérangé ni réveillé Chambre très agréable, avec tous l'équipement nécessaire, c'était parfait. Le jardin est magnifique, paisible, très agréable, le bassin est parfait pour se rafraîchir. La cuisine est très propre avec tout ce qu'il faut pour prendre le petit déjeuner, c'était parfait pour se rassembler en famille. Tout est entretenu chaque jour, tôt le matin, sans même que l'on s'en rende compte. Les hôtes sont ultra attentionnés : scooter, sortie bateau, conseils, plateaux de fruits, ils nous ont même apporté des crêpes un matin, au moindre soucis ils étaient présents, ils ont vraiment pris soin de nous du début à la fin. Je vous recommande vivement cet hébergement, c'est d'une très grande qualité, le meilleur rapport qualité prix que l'on a vu au Sri Lanka.

Asela is a great host!!! Very hospitable and friendly, always ready to help with all issues. We lived in the villa for a whole month. The house is always very clean, cleaning every few days. Convenient location of the house, just 10 minutes by tuktuk to the sea and all the establishments. We are very happy that we ended up here I highly recommend this villa, secluded accommodation surrounded by birds and beautiful nature Also really liked Asela's restaurant, one of the best we have visited! Thank you!

Some of the reviews here made me second guess my booking, but you can't always rely on what you read. That said I LOVED my stay here, it was heaven on earth literally ON the beach. I am traveling through SL solo and this place was a dream, Ravi was so helpful and accommodating, he and I got along very well, (yes he is a bit rough around the edges) but you can't always judge a book by its cover. Ravi went out of his way to make me feel welcomed. Erich was amazing as well, his communicaiton was excellent, very responsive. Points: Make sure you discuss price upfront before anything. My only complaint is that Ravi had a bag of laundry done for me and the next day charged me $40 USD!!!! I was floored. I had two bags of laundry done a few days later for $6.50 USD wishing you both all the success ( I have already told 3 people to book with you when they get down South) I hope they do!

The property itself felt like a warm hug. Surrounded by lush paddy fields, a lotus pond, and vibrant greenery, it offered breathtaking views of sunrise and sunset. 🌻 The design combines comfort and charm, with spacious rooms, an efficient kitchen, and thoughtful touches like a washing machine. Mornings were magical—waking to birdsong and the golden glow of sunrise over the fields. Evenings, with fiery sunsets and calm breezes, were equally enchanting. The caretaker added to the experience with warm smiles and traditional Sri Lankan breakfasts. Hasitha even arranged a visit to his brother’s tea plantation—a memorable highlight. Two days weren’t enough. This wasn’t just a stay; it was a soul-refreshing experience we’ll always treasure. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and authenticity ❤️✨

We had an awesome time at Rakis. the property was everything we hoped for from the beautiful pool to spacious rooms. It was private and cosy . The chef & all staff were friendly and accomadating ! we will be back
