Great location 👌 We were walking distance to several restaurants. A short minute to two minute drive from downtown, totally walkable but I preferred to drive. Far enough from downtown to enjoy the peace and quiet but close enough to totally walk! The perfect location to every activity possible! The place was very comfortable with AC and a private jacuzzi after a long day. Loved that we could order breakfast, totally saved us time when starting our day! Breakfast delivered at the time we ordered the previous day. Definitely recommend this place, the hosts were amazing and gave us great tips and options!!! ❤️

Toucan Tranquility, its pool and patio areas are beautiful. We did not miss a/c. We enjoyed lovely breezes through the patio and at night, it was a great temperature as the location is at a bit higher than Atenas. There is very good privacy - the hosts were at home in the upper level, but their space and entrance to the upper level is entirely separate - they even have a separate gate from the street. It was wonderful to be surrounded by trees, lush greenery and flowers. The beds were comfortable and there were many conveniences such as racks for our suitcases and comfortable furniture. The outdoor kitchen was a new experience for us. It made it possible for us to bake a chicken and a cake. The location was quite peaceful - away from the bustle of Atenas. Cher was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. She shared some recommendations and is the source of a wealth of information. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Casa Balbi is one of those rare places where I felt at home immediately. I was lucky to get to know both Larry and Oscar over the week I was in Monteverde. We had discussions about their vision for the property and the responsibility to be good neighbors—to humans, monkeys, hummingbirds, luminous beetles, toucans, and the many lovely creatures that visit—by fostering environmental well-being and believing that the extra effort makes a difference. Oscar will help arrange your tours and visits to the amazing forests nearby. Expect monkeys to go by the patio often! They visited me every day. Also, I work remotely and the WiFi was way better here than I have back home. I can’t wait to come back :) Thanks for having me <3

we loved the location !! Large appartement with everything we needed. 5 minutes to nice restaurants and shops. Phil and Annik were greatxat recomanding places to visit and were very responsive. Would definitly go back.

Nos gustó mucho el lugar, todo en orden, buen tamaño de pantalla, con buena decoración, el acceso muy bueno, puede salir sin necesidad de llevar nada, buena ventilación (solo que se me apagaba al rato entonces no supe si siempre estaba programado). Tenía muchas cosas disponibles. Volveríamos a reservar :)

Yoad was very quick to respond and a very helpful host! We loved the apartment, got to see howler monkeys in the forest next door and enjoyed soaking up the sun in the pool! Only difficulty was getting there at first because we did not have a 4x4, but once we got an atv it was all smooth sailing!

Simona’s place was wonderful. The check in was very easy and I felt right at home as soon as I checked in to the airbnb. The kitchen was great, it had all the required amenities and a working stove and oven. The location is prime - it is next to the beach, and many restaurants and cafes. The place was cleaned daily and fresh towels were brought consistently. Simona offered great recommendations and I enjoyed that I could use the pool next door to Griss Lodge. My only con would be that the place can get a bit noisy in the night because of the ATVs and motorcycles driving on the road so I would recommend bringing ear plugs. Other than that, the place is wonderful and I would recommend Simona’s place.

I loved the location! Near numerous restaurants and bars, super close to the beach, very secure and I felt safe. Repair of fan in unit was done extremely fast. Freddy and everyone truly made my stay enjoyable. His staff cleaned the premises and accommodated me with extra towels when I needed them. This is definitely a gem in Jaco!

I had a great stay at Gerardo’s place! The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location was convenient, and the host was friendly and attentive. Everything went smoothly, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Ilfido und Arelys sind die perfekten Gastgeber, freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit und sie haben uns mit dem leckersten Obst versorgt. wir würden jederzeit wieder bei Ihnen übernachten. Das Zimmer war absolut sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Außerdem hatten wir einen wunderschönen Blick in die Natur.

My friends and I stayed at Manuel’s place for two nights and cannot recommend it enough! He and his staff were courteous, communicative and friendly, and the Villa was perfect for our group of 3. The restaurant on site has great breakfast. We didn’t get to try out the pools but hopefully on a future trip! If you are planning on going to an event at Parque Viva, the location is excellent. It’s also very close to the airport.

Lovely place with a beautiful lake view. The check-in mechanism allow us enter at early morning when we were coming from my sister’s wedding. Highly recommend if you what to spend a peaceful night with the song of the lake/river and births and delicious native food restaurants around the area. Thanks Yinley for this opportunity!!!

Desde el momento de la reserva, Grettel se contactó y se puso a disposición. Siempre nos aclaró las dudas y muy amablemente nos ayudó. El lugar el muy acogedor, uno quiere quedarse a vivir ahí! Con todas las amenidades necesarias, limpio y un jacuzzi que no se quiere salir nunca. La pasamos muy bien!

Andreina's place was beautiful. Very close to all our activities, even though it was just on the edge of the city it felt like you were in the jungle. Very quiet location, very peaceful and safely secure with a gated entrance. Beautiful view of the jungle right from your bed. We would have loved to have had a screened patio door to be able to hear all the sounds of the rain forest and that would have made it perfect. This kitchen was fully stocked with everything and the bathroom had all the essentials. Wonderful place to stay, we would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved our time at Mariposa cottage. The terrace view was amazing and we enjoyed the visitors we had while enjoying our morning coffee. Iguanas, birds, squirrels, and the sound of howler monkeys and cicadas. The cottage has tons of character and artistic flair and the outdoor shower was fantastic! Peter was a great host. Highly recommend Mariposa if you’re looking for something unique with a fabulous view of the ocean in a jungle like setting.

Great Airbnb! Very nice location, very clean, it had everything that was listed. The host was definitely the highlight! Always answering very fast and helping us with any issue we had. We had a small issue with the jacuzzi and it was promptly fixed in a matter of a couple of hours. Also, we had a small issue with the digital lock one night and we got an answer and the issue solved within minutes. Totally recommend and will stay next time!

Our stay was fantastic. Elvis was an amazing host who was incredibly responsive and immediately helped book and coordinate tours and provide local recommendations. The accommodations are far better than the pictures and some of the best quality builds of the places we have stayed in Costa Rica. Viewing the wildlife on the balcony was a major plus and we will undoubtedly be back again.
