We had a mini girls getaway. 48 hours of nothing but relaxation. The place is super cozy, the kitchen has absolutely everything you could possibly need and the hot tub is such an added bonus. We took a short 10 minute walk down the street to see the falls. They were lovely. I know there's been a few comments about the water pressure, it has been rectified and its perfect. I just have one suggestion, give directions on how the dishwasher works with the check-in message. All in all it was a great experience and we are already talking about coming back next year ❤️

We've stayed in a few places where the photos didn’t quite match the reality, but this listing was exactly as advertised. The property, both inside and out, was absolutely beautiful. The space was clean and well-maintained, and the surroundings were incredibly scenic and relaxing—just what we needed for a peaceful weekend getaway from the hectic city life. Carl and Marsha, the hosts, were fantastic. They were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. They also provided excellent recommendations for nearby places to check out, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil escape with great hosts!

Erica was always responsive and clearly described everything needed for check in and check out . The entire home was exactly as shown in the pictures . We would definitely visit this place again . 😊

I don't even know where to start about how amazing this experience was for our kids my husband and myself. Peter went above and beyond to make sure we all had the best time provided a basketball when my son asked for one, life jackets set up the paddle boat. The pictures I seen did not AT ALL do this beautiful home justice the beds were so comfortable and everything was clean and stocked. the outside was even better my kiddos had a blast fishing on the paddle boat etc. we will 1000% be back soon! Thanks again Peter!

This historic log cabin is a jewel. Very tastefully decorated and well equipped. Plenty of living g space inside for fun gatherings. Dog friendly allowed for 6 of us and 2 dogs to have a fabulous Bruce Trail hiking weekend. The hot tub to soak tired muscles was a major bonus. Jacqueline and Shane were super responsive, patient and helpful.

My husband and I wanted to get away from the city hustle and found exactly what we needed at this property. It was beautiful inside and out and we truly felt like we were secluded and alone (finally!) Inside the cottage was clean, bright, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The yard is completely private and surrounded by trees but still allows for full days of sunshine. The pool was bigger than we expected and was perfect for lazy float days. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

Even better than expected! Perfect private getaway. House is beautifully decorated with a cozy vibe but plenty of room for everyone to have their space. Well appointed, hosts have thought of pretty much everything one could want or need. We didn’t want to leave and would highly recommend. Felt like home.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. It was seamless from check in to check out. The place was very clean and we liked that the kitchen cupboards were clearly labeled, no opening 10 drawers to find a spoon. Sandra was quick to respond.

It was a lovely, peaceful place to stay and we appreciated the bonus treats and items we could use for breakfast. My mom and I also found the beds very comfortable for a good night's sleep. The hiking trail nearby (G2G Rail Trail) was a bonus and I enjoyed learning more about it.
