A great place to stay! Mina was so kind and helpful during my stay. Three room inn with a cafe downstairs — healthy and delicious food. Nice intimate place to stay in a town full of big resort hotels. Keep in mind the rooms are Japanese style — tatami mats and futon on the floor.

We had a fantastic time at this place. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Since all the rooms are upstairs, I had a peaceful and quiet stay. The bathrooms were downstairs, and they all had clean shared showers. The dining area was spacious with ample tables and chairs. In the center of the room, there was a cozy fireplace that created a warm and inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of a cabin nestled in the woods, with snowfall outside. We made some great friends during our stay and will definitely be returning in the future.

A spacious common area features a long wooden table surrounded by minimalist chairs. Warm wood paneling and subtle lighting create a modern yet cozy environment. Various seating arrangements, including couches and smaller tables, are visible, providing areas for relaxation or group gathering.

It was a very comfortable space! Meals are very convenient and you can use your time meaningfully! I am also able to specify a meal time, so I can adjust the crowds, so I appreciate it. It is within walking distance to the ski slopes and there is also a hot spring within walking distance. I want to use it again! Thank you!

Hosts are super friendly and helpful with me getting to know how I can go to ski resort. I had a really wonderful experience staying here. And the location is very convenient, close to the echigo-yuzawa station and 7-11.

Masa is THE most generous host! His hospitality was out of this world and he showed us, as promised, different onsen every night. Will 100% recommend and hopefully have a chance to return again! Thank you Masa!!

This place is very nice and he is a great host. The location is perfect for ski trips or adventuring in the mountains. We had a group of 5 and it fit us perfectly.

Great lodge in a beautiful area. Kieren was super kind and helpful for our whole stay, going out of his way for us, and making delicious food every morning and night. We were able to chat with other guests during the meals, but also we could choose not to. There is a nice spacious bath which we were able to use all to ourselves at a time of our choosing (there were few other guests). I can't recommend this place enough, if you're in the area definitely stay here!

Great lodge. Booked a tatami room, which was right above a whitewater river. Opened the window slightly and that background sound resulted in the best nights sleep I’ve had in a while. Nice lodge, has all you need. Kieren is a great host. Knows lots about the area Inc tips on the local onsen
