Woodend Retreat nestled in the heart of Speyside

A beautiful and tranquil setting, you will find it peaceful and relaxing. Facilities include a double bed in the main bedroom which can be split into two single beds, and a sofa bed in the lounge area. The property is a converted attic space and therefore has a sloping ceiling so be careful not to bump your head! We are in the heart of the Whisky Trail with many distilleries nearby, so a visit and a wee dram is a must! OTHER ACTIVITIES - FISHING, CYCLING, WALKING, HIKING and BEAUTIFUL BEACHES

The house is well located for Elgin town centre which is a 10/15 min walk.2 parking spaces are provided. It’s a home from home with new decked outdoor seating at the rear. Gas central heating. 2 double beds, kitchen, bathroom.Please check the house rules, additional information section for any questions you might have which could help when looking to book. Distilleries are all around the area in Speyside and Glen Moray distillery a 10 minute walk . I visit my guests to say a quick hello.

Cheerful unique 2bedroom cottage with free parking

Number 7 is a stylish cottage in the sought after west end of Elgin. It is just a short walk from the city’s vibrant array of cafes, bars, restaurants and the home of Gordon&MacPhail for the whisky lovers. Recently refurbished with traditional features, including the original cast iron roll top bath for which we highly recommended a relaxing dip with lots of bubbles. This is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Moray Coast, Aberdeenshire and the Highlands.

Lovely two bed first floor flat central location

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place. Situated next to Elgins historic Cathedral and right across the road from the famous Johnston’s Woollen Mill. A few minutes walk through our beautiful Copper Park is the town centre of Elgin. Ideally situated for those doing the whisky trail and other local places of interest within the Moray area. The flat is on the first floor of the property and very well appointed and has been recently refurbished.

Carol was fantastic and her place was exactly as described. Communication was very clear. Carol was incredibly kind and left food for us as we were arriving very late. Would highly recommend. It was spotless and a in a lovely area very close to town.

Perfect little place, couldn’t be better. We loved staying here. Highly recommended for a seaside getaway. This place is so modern and clean and in a perfect location for walks and as a base to go further. We didn’t need to contact the hosts because check-in was easy and there were no problems at all. The place was more than perfect for our unplanned stop in Elgin. The two of us stayed here for two nights. The accommodation more than exceeded our expectations. The location with great views. The friendliness and helpfulness of the host is second to none. He had lots of valuable tips for us. He also gave us many tips and recommendations for our further Scotland round trip. An important point, the queen-size bed was very comfortable. We both highly recommend this place and the host. Christian and Jenny from Germany

We had a lovely few days staying at Tanglewood. Graeme was very helpful before and during our stay. Everything was as described. Very spacious rooms and a nice welcome pack of cake, biscuits and milk on arrival. We used the hot tub too which was very good and relaxing. Hire included extra towels and slippers which was a lovely touch. We would recommend staying here. Thanks Graeme.

This was a wonderful stop on our vacation, we did not want to leave. The home is very comfortable, we slept wonderfully. The kitchen is very well situated to make meals if you feel I like staying in and enjoying the view. We would definitely stay here again. Carol was wonderful to work with, so helpful and accommodating.

This was a wonderful find and comfortably was of the most welcoming and homely places that we’ve ever stayed in. Sharon an her partner had made lots of little (and not so little - if you include the Christmas tree) touches to the house to ensure it was a lovely place to stay whilst enjoying the wintery conditions of Speyside. In particular, there was a big effort to ensure that everything a dog could need was provided. In summary, they were very generous hosts and made our stay very memorable.
