Cottage vacation rentals in Mijas

Peaceful stay for a week. Beautiful elevated location with panoramic views. Rocabella restaurant at the bottom of the track was great if you dont feel like venturing out far, with a varied menu from light bites to main dishes with burgers, steaks and fish.. My advice would would be to grab some basic groceries from a supermarket prior to going up to the house i.e coffee, bread eggs , drinks etc. I travelled with my ederly mother and the accomodation was suitable for our needs as she is unable to manage steps. There is one twin room downstairs with a bathroom and walk in shower which is next to the kitchen , lounge and outside patio so easy access for her with limited mobility. its would not be suitable for a wheelchair however. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with doors opening onto a patio with table and chairs, perfect for your morning coffee to relish the sun rise and sunsets, and also affording privacy if travelling with others in your group. I throughly enjoyed my stay. 😊

Very nice chalet close to activities while being quiet. Mayte is very nice and available for any questions. The jacuzzi is very pleasant in the late afternoon to relax with stunning views! The most important thing for us is the cleanliness and comfort of the bed and we had it at Mayte's 🤗

Great spot to enjoy for a few days. A really nice, well designed, beautiful home. Well equipped and a lovely picturesque setting. Responsive and friendly host who was flexible and took care of our needs. Recommend.

Communication with the hostess was excellent even before arrival. The welcome was warm - the hostess and her partner were extremely helpful and just particularly lovely people. I felt at home there. At the same time, the small house in which you are accommodated with the beautiful garden offers total privacy. The orange trees were allowed to be "plundered" - fresh orange juice every morning. The view of the mountains is magnificent. A wonderful place to chill and be with yourself. In the evening, I heard the bells of the goats from the nearby hills. In addition, some dogs that could almost howl like wolves. I thought it was nice. You can also hear airplanes - but I soon didn't notice that anymore, because I felt so comfortable and the location is also fantastic for that. The place is authentic - you're really in Spain. I hope I can go back there soon. Absolute recommendation.

Such an amazing stay! We were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. If you are looking for a modern, luxury home, this may not be for you right away. For us, it was absolutely perfect! The house was clean and everything is provided that is needed. The location is ideal: quiet location. You are at ease, private. The swimming pool is a great asset: pure enjoyment. If I can say 1 point that was perhaps a little less, it is that the toilet and shower are located outside the cottage. (if you have to go to the toilet at night or something) but in itself not disturbing for us. When we had questions, we also received an immediate answer via message. We are very satisfied with our stay and would not hesitate to come back :-)

It is a great house with fantastic atmosphere.

This was one of the best holidays we have had. The mountains are incredibly beautiful, the town is not too far away, Malaga is great for beaches, town, restaurants, shopping and history! Juan is very friendly and happy to help and manager Jenni is always on hand to answer questions and visit to make sure that everything is going smoothly. The pool is compact but still wonderful for a dip at any time. It is clean and very well maintained. The terrace is beautiful to sit at all times. This is a wonderful place. Thank you for our stay!

Beautiful villa, fantastic views, everything super clean, the truth is we had a 10/10 weekend

We had a wonderful stay. The place was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The views were lovely, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor seating and BBQ area (only issue was that it was too windy to use the parasol so no shade). The nearby town was really beautiful and quaint too. Eyal and his family were fantastic hosts—warm, welcoming, and great to communicate with.

Everything was fine, Miguel is a very nice and friendly person who is willing to help with trips and tips in the area.

Comfortable house in a beautiful spot very private and spotlessly clean. Good base for exploring and walking. Was the wrong time of year for us to use the pool but the grounds and outside space were really nice too. Only thing would be to have information in the house about how everything worked, what there was to do in the area where to put the rubbish, house rules etc. Overall a great stay.

House located in a quiet area and great for those who are going to do the Caminito del Rey! They finish the walk practically at the door of the house. The house was very clean, well-equipped and amazing. The AC saved us in every room of the house because it was very hot. Francisco was very helpful and always ready to help with anything we needed.

Lola and Juan Carlos are the best hosts I have ever dealt with. So helpful and always quick to respond to our questions. This property is the best in all of Andalusia! Absolutely beautiful surroundings and centrally located for day trips throughout Southern Spain. Highly recommend!!!

Odile and Jeepy are the best hosts, they made us feel at home while staying here and were really helpful throughout our trip. Really friendly and sweet couple. The cottage is comfortable and has a nice terrace with a view of the mountains. It's well placed for exploring the surrounding countryside, and less than half an hour from Marbella. We'd love to come back for a longer stay some day.

We stayed at Carmen's villa as a family with 2 children. The location was very quiet with great views. Carmen was very helpful, super friendly and always available. The villa was very well equipped and fully corresponded to our idea. We didn't miss anything. Pool towels and pool toys were also available for us. Our excursions in the surroundings to Málaga, Marbella, Nerja, the Caminito del Rey (book early!), Ronda were worthwhile (travel times 30 min to 1:20 h). We can recommend the restaurant at Lauro Golf Resort. We were extremely satisfied with our week at Carmen's villa and can recommend it.

We spent the whole weekend at Yelena's house. The place is spectacular, the views are breathtaking and the house and surroundings are very nice and well maintained. Overall, I recommend this place. However, I think a couple of things need to be mentioned. First, the house is not well acclimatized and does not have air conditioning, so it was necessary to open the windows and ventilate the house. Second, the house is very small and does not have a living room or anything like that. The only "common space" is the large table that is outside, on the terrace, which is not ideal when it is very hot. Otherwise, the place is beautiful, very well maintained and the hosts are very good people. Recommended.

Juan was a really kind and welcoming host. The house and swimming pool were clean, and the BBQ area was amazing. We also loved the ping-pong table—great for some fun evenings! A special thanks to Juan for sharing freshly picked oranges with us, it was such a thoughtful gesture! We definitely recommend the place.

Elena is very friendly and helpful. She also gave us good tips, for example, how to park for free in Málaga. We enjoyed staying in their apartment very much. It is very quiet and a little further away from the village of Cártama. It is small as described, but completely adequate. We loved the garden in the evening at sunset and in the morning at breakfast. Thanks for the time!

Casita Comares was our honeymoon stay. We had stayed in fancy/expensive hotels in Madrid and Seville during the Spain trip but the very best part of the honeymoon were the three night spent at Casita Comares. Accommodations exceeded expectations. The hosts are kind and responsive. 100% recommend.

We loved the views and peacefulness but felt safe having someone English next door. The welcome pack was amazing and appreciated as we stayed put for 3 days due to heatwave and didn't have to worry about shopping.
