This was my first adventure with Airbnb, and I must say I now feel spoiled. If you were looking for a beautiful place a peaceful place and one that is close to the highway you don’t have to look any further. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely be reaching out!

Perfect place to stay for our short trip to PSU. Walkable to downtown and all of the restaurants and bars. The place was spotless and had everything we needed and some additional personal touches. Will definitely stay with Jennifer again.

The Sapphire Suite -Close to PSU and Downtown

Meredith’s place is a great place to spend a weekend or possibly longer in close proximity to PSU. Little touches like all the light switches being labeled and clear directions for the pullout bed make you instantly feel at home. She was very honest during booking that you are staying in the basement of their home so you are aware you will hear activity above you during the day. The space is exactly as pictured and described and there were even some welcoming beverages and snacks for us to enjoy during our stay. Overall a great experience and we hope to stay here again on future visits to PSU.

Outdoor seating includes several chairs arranged around a central fire pit, set on a stone patio. Lush greenery and garden beds with blooming plants surround the area, enhancing a sense of privacy and tranquility.

Jennifer's place was great! My family and I stayed here while attending a graduation at Penn State. It was cozy, clean and well maintained and the hosts were responsive. Would happily recommend this place! It had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The suite features light wooden flooring and a cozy corner with a red sofa. A white kitchenette with a microwave and dishware is positioned against a blue wall, complemented by a ceiling fan and artwork. Storage is available along the wall with built-in cabinets.

Angelique was an incredibly gracious hostess. She reached out to me before my arrival with clear and concise instructions. She included a photo of where to park my car. The space is accurately described, and the images give a clear idea of the space (I have found some other listings have "strategic" photos). Angelique provided me with directions for temperature control and encouraged me to reach out with any questions or concerns. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The linens were all of good quality. I appreciated the water bottles in the fridge. The entrance is private. You do need to go through Angelique's kitchen and living room to get to the staircase upstairs. You are provided a key to lock the door leading to the upstairs. The house is clean and cozy. I would most certainly stay here again. I will recommend Angelique's home to my friend, whose daughter is starting at Penn State in the Fall. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Best Airbnb we’ve stayed at in State College. Home was spotless and exactly like the photos. Sharma provided waters, coffee, half and half, great snacks, and a welcome chocolate on our pillows. She even had a basket of Just in Case toiletries for any forgotten items. The location is great - close to the campus. I highly recommend; definitely plan to stay again.

5 Stars - A wonderful Stay! I had the pleasure of staying at Jan’s Airbnb this past weekend, and it was a fantastic experience! Jan was incredibly attentive throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed and offering helpful tips for the area and how to navigate the Penn State game as this was our first time to the game. The place was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials. It felt like a home away from home, and we truly appreciated how well-maintained everything was. One of the highlights was the homemade pumpkin chocolate chip muffins Jan left for us - such a sweet and delicious touch that made us feel at ease. It was these little thoughtful details that made our stay special. If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming place to stay with a host who goes above and beyond, this is the spot! I’d definitely stay here again.

Anna’s place was perfect for a quick stay in State College. Check-in instructions were sent in advance and easy. The home was in a quiet place, clean, with private parking. There was also desk space available if you are working remotely. I would stay here again in the future!

I had a fantastic weekend stay at Geoff and Adrienne’s place! They were very friendly, quick to respond, and made sure I felt welcomed. Upon arrival, I was greeted and shown around the space, where everything I needed was thoughtfully explained. The privacy was perfect, and the accommodations were excellent for a short weekend stay. They provided waters, coffee, snacks, disposable utensils and cups, and essentials for the shower, making it a super comfortable stay. The place was spotless, with an easy setup that made me feel right at home. They even had helpful instructions typed up for things like check-out and using the TV, as well as recommendations for places in the area. One of the highlights was how Geoff and Adrienne even walked with us to the bus stop, which takes you either downtown or to the Bryce Jordan Center—super convenient for getting around! Overall, an amazing stay with wonderful hosts. I highly recommend it and would love to come back!

I had a very relaxing stay at the guest suite. This is a beautiful totally renovated space! It was stocked with everything I needed and Kathleen provided waters and extra snacks. The space was very clean and the bedroom was perfectly comfortable. The location is ideal as it’s a very short distance to downtown/PSU. There is plenty of seating for guests with the comfortable couches and bar area. Kathleen was a very responsive host and answered all of my questions promptly. I’d definitely recommend for a weekend trip to PSU or even a longer stay!

Karyn’s listing is a very peaceful, clean and cozy spot. The host was very useful with all the communication before arriving to make check in very easy. The airbnb matches the description perfectly and is very cozy. The location is also super close to Penn State’s campus, about a 10 minute uber drive to all the restaurants, shops, bars and cafe’s next to campus. Great spot I strongly recommend if you’re looking for a easy getaway to explore Penn State or the surrounding parks and national forests for a weekend!

Lauren was a wonderful host and the space was perfect for four people. Only a ten minute ride to downtown State College. Host is very generous too leaving shampoo, conditioner, body/face wash, coffee, and snacks for patrons. Would 100% love to stay here again.
