Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Mie

It was an amazing experience. In two months of travelling Japan, being in a small village felt the most authentic. If you’d like authentic travel experiences, and meeting locals, here is a great place. The house is also an amazing to experience living in. Very unique for a non-Japanese person! I intend to return again.

This place was so great to do camping style stay for beginners. I’ve recommend to use this place for everyone .

I stayed for 2 nights, so I was able to use the washing machine.The veranda is large, so you can dry a lot of laundry.It's convenient for long stays and for small children to stay.It dries well.I'll use it when I come to Ise again. You can also smoke on the veranda.

We stayed here to go to the Ghibli Park on Sunday. It was more than we asked for: cozy, clean, warm and we loved that there is a delicious croquette store close by as well as secondhand bookstore, hitsumabushi place within walking distance. We can’t recommend this place enough if you want to explore a different part of Nagoya, go to Ghibli park, or enjoy a traditional/old feeling cosy home.

Samurai house was amazing! Not only beautifully decorated, but it had absolutely everything we needed and more. As a mum the washing and drying facilities, were next level, making it so easy to catch up on our family of 4 washing, a button to self fill the bath, WOW, and Nintendo for the kids to play on in the evenings. We loved it and stayed to go to Ghibli park, but wished we'd stayed longer. Great location and loads nearby.

Staying at John’s place in Shiga was an unforgettable experience! John is an incredibly passionate and energetic host, always full of enthusiasm. He and his lovely wife, Rika, made me feel right at home. They even invited me to join their family for a delicious homemade dinner, and Rika kindly provided breakfast as well. Their son, Andre, was also very friendly, and I truly enjoyed our conversations. The house itself is a charming countryside cottage surrounded by beautiful nature, making it a perfect getaway. If you’re visiting Shiga, staying with John is an absolute must! Highly recommended!

This is my 4th time staying at にゃん’s. Whenever I am in Nagoya, I know that I can feel at home here. As soon as I walk in, it does feel like coming home. In the 5 years I’ve been coming here (it would’ve been more, but as you all know, COVID wrecked the world’s travel plans), not much has changed. It’s a reliable, quiet place to come back to after sightseeing or even to make a home base for day trips to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Gifu, Mie, even as far as Fukuoka (wake up early for this!). As much as I love the apartment, the standout highlight is still the host, にゃん. When I couldn’t figure out something, or got lost wandering sightseeing, they were there to help. From the moment you become their guest, they want to make sure you have the best experience of Japan possible. Treat にゃん well, because they will treat you well. The epitome of “omotenashi” — the Japanese tradition of hospitality.

The host is very kind!Common areas have cookies, instant noodles, and drinks that you can request, or you can buy your own ingredients!It was a nice place. If I have a chance to come to Nagoya again, I'll think about staying again.

It was helpful to have plenty of amenities.The blanket felt warm and nice in the room.I was surprised that there was even an electric blanket. We will stay again when we stay in Nagoya.

Listing was accurate; there was a little mix up with the apartment but it was sorted easily; host was communicative and helpful; would stay again.

It was a nice, almost four storey apartment. The place is 20 mins away from the station. But it was a nice walk from the station if the weather is good. The view from the place is great. You can see the lake and the mountain. We love the nature the most.

We stayed for a small trip of five men! It is very clean and everyone is very satisfied!

this is a most amazing place we have ever stayed with air bnb, kitchen is equipped with all necessary cooking stuff and even various seasoning, bedrooms are superb.... Children have plenty of space inside the building and backyard for running, the space is more than enough for our 12 people group. ......... Perfect.......
