Very good homestay owner, provided us with breakfast, as well as pick-up and drop-off service at Tokoname station.At the same time, Mike is very enthusiastic and does everything he can to make you feel comfortable. Mike is very talkative, but does not make people feel pressured ~

This was one of our favorite stays on Airbnb; the hosts are so nice and caring. Instructions were clear for check in. We booked a private fishing tour through them and it was a delightful experience. We stayed two nights and it was truly life giving. I am so grateful for Takeshi’s listing. We also got to go to their restaurant and it was a wonderful experience. Absolutely a 5 star rating. Thank you so so so much!

very quiet village close to the sea, tasty food, excelent music

Very peaceful place to stay. Do not visit if you don't have a car. Keiko was a wonderful host providing us with an authentic Japanese breakfast, which at times was a bit much but very tasty indeed. Do not visit if you enjoy city life because this is very far away from any such business.

I would like to recommend Mike's ABB. It's a lovely and sweet house. He and his wife are so kind, he kindly picked up our luggages to the house so we can walk around Tokoname easily. And after dinner he drived us back to the house. The room is very clean and warm. They also prepare breakfast and tea. Mike likes to share his life and talk to people, wish have more to know about him and his wife. We had a great time at Tokoname and at Mike's ABB. THANKS! Hope to see u again.

Great value and a great experience. To be able to have some freshly caught fish and have conversations with Toshiko was absolutely a highlight to this spot. Very thoughtful and a must book for anyone looking to spend time in the lower Mie region. highly recommend.

Thanks to Takeshi, I got to live in a house straight out of a Japanese movie that I had always dreamed of! I was very grateful for his detailed introduction. It was very pleasant to take a walk in the village in the early morning. I made a reservation for dinner with Takeshi in advance, and it was particularly delicious! The taste of home, this was an experience I had never had before when I came to Japan. I hope that in the future, I will have the opportunity to stay for a few more days, fully enjoying the relaxation and pleasure brought by the natural environment and historical heritage!

I chose this place because I wanted to stay quietly surrounded by nature.I was able to walk around in the nice weather, eat local ingredients, and was very much healed by the rich nature.We really appreciate the flexibility with the check-in time.It was a good trip where I was able to relax quietly.

The room is wonderfully furnished in a way that is unique to Muji, and the view is good in a quiet environment, We had a relaxing and luxurious morning time, which you can't experience in the city, watching the new green leaves and listening to the birds singing while lying in bed. Since it is a renovated part of an old inn, there is no toilet or washroom in the room, and it will be shared with other guests. The bath can be rented by the hour, and the bathtub and ceiling have a retro feel that is soothing. Even if you only stay in the room for one night, the time will fly by, so I recommend staying for 2 or 3 nights, considering that you can also walk around the town in front of the gate.

John is one of the best host I’ve ever met at Airbnb. He is very friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic. He and his wife are very nice. I also love his dogs. They are very cute.

Mike and his wife Masayo are really nice and friendly!! They really made us feel at home. The room was clean and cozy. We love it! It was our first time using airbnb, and because of Mike's kindness, friendliness and patience, it was awesome. Next time when we visit tokonome, we'll definitely choose Mike's bnb again.❤️

Very good experience, the house is large and clean, we can use the bathroom on the first floor and the entire second floor, we are three people staying, only used the two rooms upstairs, but even seven or eight people can stay.Will come again!

Best Airbnb! we stayed at their 200 yeas old farmhouse with wonderful rooms, a terrace and surroundings. Very cozy big house. We have had a BBQ dinner together with the hosts and they also served us breakfast. it was super great to stay there.

The perfect place to go for peace at heart. Beautiful mountains covered in trees, lots of temples to visit. I had a great time staying here and got a lot of work and writing done. It was a pleasure to meet the ever so friendly host - I felt very much at home. Thank you.
