Vacation rentals in Midsland

The place was very nice and well maintained, we felt right at home! In the house everything was available...from baking paper, Zewa, etc. to Maggi, the kitchen was well equipped. The hostess Patricia was very friendly and helpful. The location is nice and quiet with direct views of the water... Everything worked out and we can only recommend the place!

Unfortunately, my own stay was only of a very short duration, because I became increasingly sick during the first evening. Karin helped us (I stayed here for a weekend with my best friend) with the contact details of the doctor's guard and there, in addition to antibiotics, I got the advice to go out at home sick... So whether my husband still pick me up around midnight. Extremely unfortunate because the cottage had/has everything we had been looking forward to. From a nice dining table to chat at, playing games, being creative, to a really beautifully finished bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and a lovely bed (I spent a few hours sick there that afternoon so I'll take that experience as a "bonus". My girlfriend was able to explore the beautiful surroundings further after my departure, she stayed there to enjoy the tranquility and did this to the fullest! In the future, we hope for a resit because this location is definitely worth it!

We had a great extended weekend in this beautiful place. (4 adults, 3 children) We didn't want for anything. Communication was great, contact very friendly. An amazing house, beautiful location, great island.

The stay is worth the price. However, it is worth having your own basic equipment of kitchen ingredients with you, if you want to cook as wonderfully with the wonderful view from the kitchen to the sea;-). (You will have to buy everything - salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, spices, etc.) But the jumbo in the village is a great shop (7 min. in the car) and the essentials would also be available in the campsite shop. 4 minutes by car/10-15 min. by foot) However, the towels for the bathroom are offered and included. You don't need to bring anything. Look forward to unforgettable days at sea!

We had a wonderful time with our children in Makkum! This house is a great place to slow down!

We booked the place spontaneously. The contact was very nice and Tamara responded quickly, even on site when there were still questions, they were answered quickly. The apartment was very nice and ideal for a family with 2 children. We definitely recommend the place 😊

What a great place! The house itself is pretty spacious, all amenities available, great, modern kitchen. Above, 2 bedrooms with top quality boxsprings. The view from the living room is like a postcard: wide view, open space, birds flocking around. Well located in between little towns, always something nice to see. Family De Witte is very responsive (got responded within 2 mins). I can only strongly recommend this place. You find peace in heart and mind.

If you like peace and quiet this is the place for you. A short drive from Harlingen, in a small village surrounded by open spaces, with a short hike to the sea. The vacation house looks unimpressive from the outside, but inside it is awesome. There is a fully-stocked kitchen, a large bathroom, a very comfortable king-sized bed, a cozy sitting area, and plenty of places to store your things. There is very good wi-fi also. Despite being in an out-of-the-way location, there is an excellent supermarket just up the road. Janke and her husband are very friendly and welcoming, fluent in English, and for whatever we need they are ready to help.
