We've absolutely loved our stay! The house was so lovely, it was clean, warm and had everything we needed. The extra touches like having some essentials in the fridge on arrival were really sweet. Margaret and Kath were excellent hosts, providing clear instructions and thinking of everything might possibly need. We'll definitely be coming back to stay again! 🙂

Spa Garden Cottage - Upper Hopton

We loved staying at Scarlett’s place. We had everything we needed and everything was so easy to use. Very responsive host and great for letting us know that the place was ready an hour early! Hot tub was nice and warm with great location and privacy. We went to travellers rest (10 min walk) and the food was so nice and big portion sizes for the price. We even went back later on for the Wednesday night quiz night! Overall great place and would definitely stay again. Thank you

We went for lovely walks and spent time in the spa to relax in the evening, just what we all needed, will be recommending to my friends and family 10/10 many thanks 😊

We have stayed here a couple of times now and will be back again. The location is perfect for us. Within walking distance of shops yet you wouldn't know it when you are in the house or garden. There is a Fish and Chip shop across the road that serves the most delicious fish and chips we have ever tasted. Well worth breaking a diet for! The garden is fully enclosed which is great for our two small dogs to run around in, this place is genuinely dog friendly. Fast internet and a huge tv,

Trespass Cottage, Hayfield, Peak District

MartaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Linda’s cottage was beautiful, it felt like a home away from home. We made great memories there, and enjoyed the peace and relax that came with the beautiful village of Hayfield and its surrounding. Linda made sure we had a little care package at our arrivals - all that was needed for breakfast and a nice bottle of read wine, great touch! - and the cottage was fully stocked with everything that was needed household wise. We really did feel comfortable from the minute we walked in. I will definitely book it again, the location was fantastic and I will dream of the view on the high street and surrounding hills for a while! Thank you Linda for a magical stay.

A lovely spot to spend our first few nights as a married couple. The cottage is charming and done up nicely with all amenities. Neither of these things bothered us but it’s worth noting that parking is crazy in the whole of Hepworth. Also it’s a lovely old stone cottage so sound travels from the other cottages. Thanks Ashley!

Mulberry cottage 4 spring bottom

JoeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great location for easy travel to lots of nearby places and the house itself is very close to some lovely walks. It's especially nice having the stream directly outside the window! The space was just right for our group and even with a small kitchen we managed well. Oliver was kind enough to leave some milk, fresh eggs and bread for us. It's still a bit of a creaky bed but nonetheless reasonably comfy and it's great to have some proper clothes storage in each of the rooms. We brought some of the lamps down from the bedrooms for good lighting in the lounge and had a lovely few evenings in playing games and chatting. It has been a very relaxing weekend for us and I am very grateful for that!

I've lost count of how many times I've stayed in The Nook - I love it! So homely and relaxing, utterly tranquil and in a prime location for exploring the heart of the Peak District (a number of great walks from the doorstep). Tracy is a great host, the place is spotless and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen. Cute rear garden with summer house, sit and watch the sunset over the hills while the sheep potter about in the field. Bliss.

Bean Hill Luxury Cottage with garden & parking.

ElizabethRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Such a beautiful cottage. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay with friends. Plenty of space for us all to relax after a day’s trekking. The house is perfectly situated … right next to all the local pubs and restaurants as well as being very accessible to all the great local walks. Castleton itself was extremely busy (possibly due to half term) but we felt we were in a little calm oasis when we were sitting outside in the pretty front garden of Bean Farm cottage. Also the spacious parking area just infront of the house is a real plus. We would definitely recommend this as a great base for walks in the Peak District and hope to return one day

We really enjoyed our long weekend in Blacksmith's Barn. It's in an amazing location in the centre of Hope, and blessed with a private parking space. We found it to be very clean, well-equipped and ideal for our needs. We were visiting primarily to walk and it's perfect for that - MamTor, Castleton, Win Hill etc are all within striking distance. We didn't go out in the car for the whole time we were there! We will definitely try to stay here for our next visit to the Peak District.

Riverside Cottage set in a Picturesque Village

ClareRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a fabulous 3 nights at Amanda and Steve’s lovely home. As soon as we booked we received a really informative message outlining entry arrangements, WiFi, local attractions etc which was great. The house is really lovely and spacious, a real home from home with added extra such as the generous welcome pack and logs, kindling and firefighters for the log burner. The towels and bedding were all really good hotel quality and the beds really comfy. We walked around the reservoir and kinder scout whilst we were there and the house is really well placed for this, in fact we never used our car until we went home which was great! We ate in the Packjorse twice and the lovely Italian which was a bonus. We want to thank Amanda and Steve for letting us stay and would love to come back in the future, if possible.

A really beautiful and peaceful place. Driving down the lane took some getting used to as it's quite uneven in one spot, but once we'd drven down a few times, it wasn't a problem. The kitchen was very well equipped and the beds were incredibly comfortable.
