House vacation rentals in Middleham

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

great place for a family getaway, there were 11 of us so the games room and hot tub were prefect. close enough to Barnard castle to go out for dinner, beautiful surroundings, what's not to like

We loved our stay at Darlington!! The host was so responsive, everything went smoothly. 10/10 the hot tub was a great touch for both adults and kids! Would absolutely stay again!!!

Russell and Clare are great hosts who have created comfortable, well-appointed accommodation which is warm and cosy in winter and I imagine light and airy in summer. The beds were lush. The shower is great - powerful and consistent temperature. Eppleby is peaceful with walks from the cottage, a local shop & tea room - very friendly - and pub. It's a great location for exploring Richmondshire and Co. Durham. We had a relaxing short break at The Old Milk House and hope to return.

Myself, 9 others and 1 small dog booked on of Sue's fantastic cottages for a reunion weekend. Sue was very easy to communicate with, gave us the guidebook ahead of time virtually for any queries (we were very interested in the pizza oven and games room) Facilties were excellent, we were lucky that no other cottages on the site (only 3 others) were in use during our stay, so had free roam of the site and facilties. The local recommendations were brilliant. We went to the old black bull down the road for dinner on the first night and then again for roast dinner on Sunday - mega The house itself is just as shown in the photos, more than comfortable to sleep and house 10 of us for the weekend. Special mention to the hottub, (which is private for your house and I believe comes with all houses) and to Paul who was more than helpful coming to our rescue and reviving out pizza night when we experienced some issues with the oven. 10/10 would go again.

We stayed for 2 nights at Delanie's property to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. The house and it's facilities are amazing. The pool Hot Tub and bar area really make this an amazing place to celebrate birthday's and the like. Warm welcome and a great hamper upon check in and always on hand for any issues. Highly recommend this place if your looking for a luxury break away. Will be looking to return in the future.

A gorgeous weekend at the Hobbit House for our 10th wedding anniversary. From our arrival until we (sadly) departed, both Michael and Barbara were so attentive, accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Michael gave us a fab tour around the hobbit house pointing out everything we needed to know and then took us over to see the pool, ‘The Hut’ and around the stunning gardens. It's such a beautiful setting. Barabara kindly gave us a couple of mini Proseccos for our anniversary celebrations, such a lovely lady. The attention to detail in the house was 10/10 amazing. The building itself is super modern, from the smartplugs next to the bed and on the floor in between the lazy chairs, to the integrated blinds in all windows (including the sky light) and underfloor heating. The outside living roof beautifully blends in with the environment. They’ve literally thought of everything here. The decor was beautiful and cupboards generously stocked. We didn’t want to leave. If you’re looking for the most beautiful home from home in the Yorkshire Dales, Eastfield Lodge is the place. Beautifully appointed, squeaky clean, spacious, comfortable, amazing views, fabulous walks literally on your doorstep and plenty of other activity options. 17 of us descended on the house to celebrate my 50th birthday and I couldn’t have asked for a better location or venue. We had the most wonderful weekend and felt completely at home in this stunning house. Henry and Penny are wonderful hosts and couldn’t have been more helpful. We will definitely make a plan to come back soon!

Wow what a beautiful little cottage ❤️ everything was to such high standard. It was such a beautiful area looking right out onto the river. There was lots of lovely little touches a welcome basket, towels and dressing gowns just to say a few. Emma was very helpful before our trip recommending the pub at the top of the hill for food which was amazing. I would highly recommend.

For a quiet few days off the beaten track this place is ideal. From a dog owner’s perspective the garden was completely secure. Simple little things like the quality of the cutlery and decent sized mugs for your early morning coffee makes such a difference. The nearby pub is a hidden gem, they brew their own beer on site, and it tastes great. I wish we could have stayed longer.

What a beautiful location and truly special place to say. From beginning to end, Tanya made us feel incredibly welcome. Even to the point of homemade carrot cake outside the from door when we arrived back from a long walk! We loved playing with their gorgeous dogs (who are super well trained and will leave you well alone if you're not a dog-lover). The place was immaculate, and the photos don't actually do it justice. Lots of cute and unique features and high quality finish. Right next to a gorgeous stream. I walked from there over the Pennine Way to Halton, a thoroughly enjoyable 9-mile jaunt. While leaving my partner to the 3 Peaks Challenge. And the super cute Ns characterful pub up the road was on the cherry on a very enjoyable cake. I'll definitely be coming again!

I had the pleasure of staying here for a couple of nights with a friend and immediately wished we'd booked for longer. Suzanne was fantastic in the run up to the booking, gave us very clear instructions to locate the property and checked in to make sure we'd settled okay! The place itself was amazing - great amenities, super clean and cosy! The snacks provided on arrival were a lovely touch :) We thoroughly enjoyed watching the sheep and hares hopping around in the field from our view on the sofa - such a peaceful area. Leyburn town is nearby and had lots of lovely shops and cafes. We will definitely be back!

Cute little place right next to the National Trust Hardcastle crags great walks. Lovely kitchen everything you need, nice treats, fresh milk, fresh eggs, chocolates, marmalade, bread, bottle of fizz. Lovely games in the Chest if drawers for the whole family. Well equipped Kitchen with everything you need love the orange vibe going to use a bit of that inspiration in my new kitchen!

We had a great stay at the cottage. The host communicated really well and the whole stay was comfortable and really enjoyable. The cottage had all the amenities we need for a toddler and a baby, including travel cot, high chair, lots of games/jigsaws and books in good condition, even a toddler toilet seat and step which my son was very pleased with! The cottage itself was really lovely. The location was stunning! We were able to walk into Leyburn with a pram where there were plenty of essentials. The food at Saffron was delicious for people who like curry! Overall, we had a wonderful stay 🙂

A beautiful little retreat, in a perfect location to go and explore the local attractions. White Scar Cave and the waterfall trail are both well worth a visit. Only a short drive to the Lake District too. Carly is an amazing host who goes above and beyond with all the extra little touches, she has thought of everything to make your stay so easy and comfortable. The Lodge is spotlessly clean and smells amazing. we will definitely be returning.

A lovely place to stay, Amanda was friendly & helpful and left a great welcome hamper including a bottle of Prosecco. Beautiful garden to sit in and lake walks on the door step. The property itself is immaculate and has everything you would ever need. 😊

We had a lovely stay at the old Courthouse. The house is in a fantastic location in Pately bridge. Easy walking to the town, where there's an array of places to eat. A visit to Coco Joe's is a must! The best hot chocolate I've ever had! The court house was super clean and welcoming, with lovely features. We particularly liked the welcome goodies, which made us feel at home. Emma was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend a stay here!

We had a wonderful few days at Winkley Hall Farm. Fantastic property in a wonderful, peaceful location with everything you need for a relaxing, long weekend break. Our communication with our hosts was great from the moment we booked, to arrival and throughout our stay. And the lovely welcome gift was an added surprise and greatly appreciated! We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend this property, and will look to return at some point in the future.

This Airbnb is wonderful and we would definitely stay again. The location is perfect - within close walking distance to the pubs and restaurants of downtown Sedbergh, yet in a quiet, peaceful spot on the edge of town right on a great walking path. It's also a good location in the sense that it's close enough to the Lake District to use as a base for exploring that area, as well as being in the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The house is clean, well-equipped, and the photos are accurate. It's a very nice place with no real negatives to mention.

We stayed here for my girlfriends birthday with our dog. The house is absolutely stunning and very large - the photos don’t even do it justice! Iain and Louise were very responsive, beds were incredibly comfortable and we very much enjoyed the beautiful village setting. We would love to visit again!

Great place to stay in a lovely area. Very comfortable with everything we needed and lots of thoughtful little extras. John and Tricia were friendly and helpful hosts with lots of useful local recommendations. We loved meeting all the animals too. Would thoroughly recommend.

We stayed here with our 4 month old baby & dog, it was our first break away with them both. Great location, 2 minute walk to shops/restaurants/bars. Cottage is beautiful, cosy yet spacious rooms (comfortably fitted travel cot in with space still) spotlessly clean, lovely comfy beds, amazing bath & a fab fenced off garden out the front with table & chairs. Hosts provide everything you could possibly need here, more than any other air b&b we have stayed in, including dog bowls & blankets. We will be booking to stay here again.

Absolutely lovely family Easter getaway with our grown up children and our dog, at Kirby Malzead. Sally was an excellent host, the cottage is high quality, very clean and very much home from home in it's beautiful village setting. So many wonderful places to visit in the surrounding areas and many local excellent pubs and eateries recommended by Sally also. The cottage is warm and spacious, well equipped and very well looked after to a high standard. We loved the private garden area to sit on the sunny mornings; it was excellent also for our labrador to safely wander out. We will definitely be back. Thankyou Sally for a very warm and welcoming stay!
