Guanajuato is a charming studio in the heart of Ajijic. Note that due to low ceilings the suite is not suitable for tall people and that the bed is double-sized and may feel a bit small for two adults sharing. Only two blocks from the main square at the San Andres church, and two blocks from the lake Chapala boardwalk it is a brief walk to numerous restaurants, galleries, various kinds of shopping and more. As a guesthouse we have housekeeper with onsite presence Monday through Saturday.

It has a large garden within the common areas to enjoy a good coffee. Ideal space for a couple of people.

You’ll have use of our palapa and heated pool, and we have great restaurants nearby. Villa Nova is a lovely neighborhood west of the village. Our friendly dogs, Chaquita and Rosie, will want a hello, but you can close the gated garden area for privacy. You will have a refrigerator, hot plate, coffee pot, microwave, dishes, and grill. No children under 12, please, because of the pool. The suite is perfect for 1 to 4 people, not any more than 4.

The house is in a very quiet neighborhood and you have no neighbors very close, so you will have the feeling of being alone in the middle of a forest but with all the security of the preserve. The central square of Patzcuaro is less than 10 min from the house. If it's important to have a vehicle to really enjoy the area.
