Monthly Rentals in Michaux State Forest

We had been traveling for many days and decided that we wanted to spend Easter in a place where we would be able to cook our meals and have a little Easter Egg hunt. This place was perfect, we felt right at home and the cinnamon rolls were the best we’ve ever had!!!

We loved our stay at Ron's home in Biglerville! Ron was an extremely responsive host, responding to my questions very quickly. His home was spacious and lovely. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped, it had everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy our stay. I can't say enough about the gorgeous location. Set amongst the endless orchards of Pennsylvania's fruit belt, the house was on a large, picturesque property that abutted a pond and golf course. It was so quiet and peaceful! Only eight miles to Gettysburg, we easily accessed the National Military Park, Museum and Eisenhower Farm. We definitely hope to return!

We stayed at the cabin for Easter weekend with my parents. We were looking for a nice, peaceful place outside of downtown Gettysburg to relax and visit since we live in different states. This place was perfect for that! The cabin was gorgeous and fully stocked which let us relax and feel right at home. We were able to cook Easter dinner in the spaceous and stocked kitchen without issue. The place is secluded and surrounded by woods, making our nights out by the fire peaceful and wonderful. Jayme was a responsive host whenever we had questions too. I would stay here again and again. This was one of the best airbnbs I've ever stayed at between being super clean and being stocked with everything we might need it was just amazing!

It was exactly as Steve described. Every bit of info Steve shared with us was accurate. My son (9) and I took a 2 day trip to catch as many fish as possible. This private deep pond provided fun fishing for my son and I. We caught sun fish, blue gill, large mouth bass, small mouth bass, and a big catfish…that we learned is about 12 years old. Within about 40 minutes there are multiple locations that offer stocked and native trout. We hiked along the stream and enjoyed the panoramic scenic views. It had everything we needed. In all honesty, my wife usually does the prep so when I arrived and realized I had not brought coffee or a pot to cook in, I was pleased to find those items and more. Clean and comfy.
