I stayed in this charming house and it was a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, with an incredible view of Lake San Pablo. The house was impeccable and well-equipped, with all the necessary amenities. The hosts were very attentive and helpful from the beginning until check-out. Definitely recommend the place.

The stay was very nice. The place was clean, well located and had everything you need for a comfortable night. The communication with the host was clear and timely, and check-in was easy. Recommended for those looking for a quiet and well maintained space.

I was for visiting Ecuador for work and stayed a bit longer than a week in Quito. Cumbaya is a great area and was able to find and purchase all necessary items for a calm stay at the apartment. On top of all, there is a spa, a swimming pool and a parking spot. I was really feeling like at home away from home.

I stayed three months and it is totally recommended. The area is great, the building has many amenities and the house is very cozy, with great views. The host is very willing and efficient, with quick responses. I would definitely go back.

Location is very centric and safe. Zayda was always attentive, and the security staff in the lobby was very friendly. Without a doubt, I recommend it.

The place was beautiful, if the plan is to take a break from all the stress and noise of the city to connect with your family or friends the place is ideal, you even have a small studio in case you want to read or paint as was my case, the completely complete kitchen is actually a place to disconnect from the city, I hope to come back soon because I really liked it…

Wonderful, peaceful cabin in Mindo. We had a great time in this cozy cabin, near to many attractions and the river! Elaine is a very hospitable and friendly host, she gave us some great recommendations for our stay in Mindo.

clean place has everything in the description and safe, just need to change the sheet of the apartment door, it is a little old, otherwise everything is very good

Very nice place

How to summarize a review for a place that has the potential to change your life has been a task. To stay with Cheryl and Jon at the Finca Aveterra is to be unplugged yet connected, cared for with generous hospitality, educated and informed of new ways of living; and for us specifically, reminded of who our Creator God is and the life He intended for us to live. It has been difficult to leave and felt like a departure from friends, family and home when we did. Cheryl was beyond gracious, helpful and thorough coordinating our arrival and departure, performing chef duties (unbelievable), connecting us to in-country travel means, greeting us in the middle of the night; Jon was passionately energetic sharing about syntropic agroforestry, touring us through the farm, the valley (!!), and both touring us through the lodge, sharing the fruit of their labor (literally), engaging conversation and generosity. Thank you for the time and grace of this beautiful place, Jon and CC. Con abrazos.
