Giuseppe's villa is a great find in Reggio Calabria, Italy. Giuseppe's kind gestures in sharing complementary beverages and breakfast treats only reinforce the pride in his Italian culture. An English to Italian translator is most helpful. You will need transportation, if you truly want to see southern Italy. Villa Franca is so welcoming we hope to return again. Would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Reggio Calabria. Cristian is very friendly and accommodating and made sure our stay was comfortable. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. It is also in a great location as it is close to many attractions and was only a short walk from transport links such as the ferry port and train stations. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose this apartment again!

Giuseppe and his wife, Angela, were the kindest, most hospitable, most caring hosts imaginable. The villa itself is a dream, but to have these fine people along with it is to enjoy a perfect combination. We stayed in the off season, so some of the Seaside amenities were not available, and a few restaurants were closed, but it did not impact our enjoyment of the area very much. There is a bus stop almost directly in front of the house, which makes it very easy to get to and from the nearby city of Messina, including access from the central rail/bus terminal. There is a food and sundries store within walking distance, a post office—and of course plenty of gelato vendors! The Villa’s pool is gorgeous and beautifully maintained, although cushions for the lounge chairs would be a big plus. We were glad to have a washer/dryer in the Villa but operating them took a lot of guesswork—manuals would have saved time. Overall, a stunning home in a lovely location, with incredibly kind hosts.

idyllic mountain village surrounded by friendly Italian people. In winter it can get cold in the house, even if in the morning the sun is shining surrounded by lemon trees. We always had power outages. It was worth the trip. 🍋🌞🍊

Have spent three quiet days with the best views of the sea. The terrace and the huge garden are an absolute dream. The apartment is very spacious and cozy. There was nothing missing in the kitchen. It is a few minutes by car to the beach and there is also a lot to discover in the mountain villages and along the coast. Jasmine and Klaus are the perfect hosts, have lots of tips for the area and are responsive at any time. Absolutely recommend!

Carla is an excellent host. she really cares about her guests and communicates as soon as you make the booking to make sure everything goes smoothly. We loved staying in her beautiful home. It felt like we were staying at the home of a friend.

I found this place great. Recently renovated house with modern finishes, cozy, very clean and quiet. It had everything you need, clean sheets, towels, bathroom kits, equipped kitchen and coffee machine with pods, we also found everything you need to have breakfast included. The kitchen is super equipped and in the bedroom there is a TV and also an air conditioner/heat pump that we used, the only downside is that since it was cold, the hot air remained in the bedroom and did not go to the other rooms but otherwise everything was really great. Antonio was really kind and helpful both at check-in and check-out super flexible, he gave us directions and tips on where to dine or have lunch in the area. We really felt right at home. I recommend it

Filippo’s place is spotless! The forniture and the household appliances are new and good quality, even the pans are new… It’s very fresh in summer and one minute walking distance to the beach… I highly recommend this place and his host!
