Within walking distance of the bothy you will find the Newburgh seal colony, beautiful beaches, nature reserves and a golf course. This cosy cabin provides a perfect getaway, whether you’re looking for an escape or an adventure (or both!), Carson’s cabin is a gorgeous hideaway nestled just outside Oldmeldrum in the beautiful Aberdeenshire. Recently renovated, the space has been designed with comfort and style. Enjoy spotting the local wildlife from your doorstep, as well as the horses in the field right next door. We are 3 miles from Meldrum House and 5 miles from Barra Castle, it’s ideal wedding accommodation.

Idyllic Bothy with log burning stove

An idyllic 200 year old Bothy located in the North-East of Scotland, some say similar to the cottage from the movie "The Holiday". Situated in a quiet and secluded area of Pitmedden, known as Old Seaton Village. We can provide shuttle services to nearby popular amenities - prior notice required. Well behaved dogs are welcome but are not allowed on the furniture. Dogs must be kept on a lead within the property grounds and surrounding area and must not be left unattended in the bothy.

The Den

The Den is a stunning stone built 1 bedroom cottage finished and furnished to the highest standard offering a very comfortable stay for our guests. Set in a quiet rural location and within easy reach of Aberdeenshire’s many attractions makes it the perfect location for your getaway. The open plan kitchen / diner has a fully fitted modern kitchen. A full size single bed can also be added to the large bedroom to accommodate 3 guests. There is outside seating and patio area.

Comfortable, dog-friendly steading conversion

Coshelly Steading is on the edge of Rothienorman, a village with a pub, a Chinese and an excellent Morrisons Daily shop, all about 10 minutes walk from the house. It is a newly converted steading, attached to our house and surrounded by fields. Plenty of parking, WiFi, TV etc. Dogs are welcome. There are mountains, the coast and many castles, all within easy driving distance and plenty of pleasant walks nearby. Free range eggs from our chickens, when they are in the mood.
