Our cabin sits on 35 acres in a beautiful valley in Southwestern Colorado. Rustic and cozy, this 742 sf cabin has a bedroom with a full bed and a loft with 4 twin beds. Get away from it all and relax in a quiet atmosphere. The cabin is supplied by well water + is 9 miles down a graded road. 40 min to Durango, 35 min to Mesa Verde National Park, + 25 min to Mancos. We recommend a 4 wd vehicle for winter. Roads are plowed to the entrance of the ranch + plowing is set up for heavy storms.

Lone Cone cabin @ Kokopelli Cabins is one of two cabins on the property and are new as of Feb. 2018. We look forward to each and every guest. Come enjoy a day or two at Mesa Verde, Hovenweep National park, Mcphee lake (less than 5 min away) River, bike trails, hiking trails. In the winter ski areas within an hour some 2 hours away. Snowshoeing trails and so much more! Telluride, Durango, Rico, Ouray are all close for a day trip. Cabin has a queen bed in bedroom & a new sleeper sofa.

This gem of a cabin was perfect for my husband and I to get away for relaxation and being refreshed. Very comfortable, in beautiful surroundings, quiet, well designed and supplied, yet close enough to be able to go see other places nearby (like Mancos and Dolores). The weather cooperated for a mid-July stay. Chelsea did a fantastic job of preparing the cabin and being available for any questions with quick responses. We would definitely stay again and would recommend for groups of 1-4 to choose.

Cabin was wonderful and fit quite a bit of people. Plenty of room for those who intend to explore like we did. Around the corner from the Mesa Verde National park, about 50 miles from the 4 corners. Close to both Mancos and Cortez for shopping, art, and other shopping, but not too close to ruin star gazing at the cabin. Would've been great to bring our dogs with us however, there is a really big reason why they say no pets. Great place to stay!!!

This was my second time staying on Merlin and Miriam's property. I have stayed in both places that they offer and both are outstanding. It is very quiet and beautiful. Miriam is always helpful and is very pleasant to talk to. Reba (their dog) is extremely friendly and loves to be scratched behind the ears. This is definitely the place to stay if you're going to Mesa Verde National Park.
