Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Meiringen

We only stayed one night, but this greenhouse made our honeymoon absolutely glorious. From the moment we arrived, we spent the first hour just taking photos, soaking it all in, and making video calls to share it with family and friends. It’s that special. Emmanuel was an incredible host, kind, thoughtful, and generous. He invited us to enjoy any of the fruits and vegetables growing in the greenhouse, which made our meal so much better. The mix of rustic charm and modern comfort felt like the quintessential Swiss experience. We used the provided wood to stay warm, cook our steak, and heat up the hot tub, which was incredible under the stars. This is a place that’s perfect for any age, any celebration, or even just a night of peace. We’re already dreaming of coming back and this time, bringing friends. Can’t recommend it enough.

Really enjoyed our stay at the property. Such a lovely villa in a beautiful location. Easy to get to by public transport or a walk around the lake. Giuseppe was a great host, always responsive to our queries and also sorted out our Lucerne cards before our arrival which gave us free transport and discounts in the area. Would definitely recommend and hopefully we can return in the future.

Great place with a fantastic view of the lake! I found everything to be as described with the sauna being an obvious highlight. Due to the house being located at a cul-de-sac, it feels very private (except for the odd rando intrigued by the view or the owner's sister collecting some furniture on Easter weekend). The autobahn is nearby, but its sound doesn't overwhelm that of the cow bells, so no big deal.

We were with two dogs in Giuseppe's house, the garden is large and completely well fenced. Very nice hikes possible directly from the house. The house has everything you need, perfect for a nice vacation. Thank you so much for having us and we'd love to come back.

The Rustico was exactly as we expected. In a quiet location, with a stunning view of nature. Ideal for relaxing. We especially liked the furnishings very much, we felt right at home. Since we were there for several weeks, we often had contact with Norbert. He was always available immediately and very helpful with his open manner. It is noteworthy that he has even postponed long-planned renovations so that the house is available to us during the desired period. We really appreciate that. We will definitely come back and recommend the Rustico! To get there, there is a description with video, so you can get right to the front door. We really enjoyed the very warm welcome that Donatella and Ezio gave us on arrival. After they guided us by car to the accommodation, they gave us all the necessary explanations to feel good in the house. They also gave us a lot of ideas for places to visit, hikes etc. Donatella and Ezio are very friendly and charming people. We would like to thank them again for their help when we had a problem with our car key. We felt very good in this very pretty stone house. The setting is beautiful. We'll definitely be back! Brigitte’s lovely chalet is beautifully poised above the village with a view to the other side of the valley, not far from a waterfall. It was clean and with a well stocked kitchen. Brigitte herself was very helpful and friendly. We hope to return!

Everything about our stay was great! There were clear check in/out instructions, and we had no problem finding anything! We walked everywhere (max 20ish mins), so the location was good. The host went above and beyond to make our stay as smooth and memorable as possible. You can tell she put a lot of thought for her guests!

One of the best Airbnb stays in a long time – the two of us were there for a week. Spacious place, very chic and stylishly furnished, and of course the hot tub on the very large roof terrace is a highlight - or just spend the evening in front of the cozy fireplace. In direct walking distance, everything is available (shops, restaurants, etc.) Overall highly recommended!

When I had to leave this Airbnb, I was so sad! It was one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed and it was so peaceful at all times of the day. We loved waking up to the sound of birds and going and grabbing coffee and sitting in the conservatory. We were even lucky enough to be greeted by their cat, walking around the grounds. The pictures do not do this place justice, it was so cute! We had a rental car which made it so easy to get anywhere, and for us, right outside of Bern was the perfect resting place for us to be able to see Switzerland. We were able to see everything we wanted in just about one hour. Our travel plans changed quite a bit and the hosts were very kind and understanding. We would definitely stay here again!

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. Noemi responded quickly and attentively to our questions and concerns. Above all, the explanation by video on how to use the pellet stove was very helpful. Since it was a cool, rainy day, it was very nice to be able to heat up a little. The property is also good for people who arrive by Postbus like us. There is a small shop in the next village that has everything you need on vacation. And the nature, the tranquility are wonderful.

Perfect cabin In the woods

Marc is a fantastic host. The accommodation is a typical Swiss mountain hut with tradition, which we really liked. The arrival was comfortable, the cabin is easy to reach. Thanks Marc, we will be happy to come back.

A beautiful place in the middle of the forest – absolutely recommended! Alois welcomed us very warmly and was helpful at all times. He gave us all the important information so we felt comfortable right away. The vacation home is lovingly decorated and ideal for switching off and enjoying nature. I'm sure we'll be back!

Mountain house surrounded by nature with breathtaking views that, alone, is worth the asking price for the stay. The house is spacious (we were in 5 adults) and has everything you need for a peaceful and pleasant stay. The two wood-burning fireplaces available are more than enough to heat the spaces in a short time and give a timeless atmosphere. Mario is an extraordinary host: responsive, very kind and available. The directions and instructions you gave us on the different roads to get to the house were clear, real and useful. In short: I recommend everyone to stay in Mario's house, you will not be disappointed!!

Beautiful old stone house in peaceful nature. We had three very relaxing days in beautiful Verzascatal. There is no supermarket in the immediate vicinity, but there are countless hiking trails in the most beautiful nature and with a little luck you can even see cute wildlife. The place is highly recommended and looks like the pictures. Giulio is a fantastic host, he was always available to us and had good tips for us. Thank you Giulio, we will be happy to come back.
