Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Peace, space, and privacy. Surrounded by nature reserves, 2 kilometers away from the IJsselmeer and the beach. In the 3,300 m² (35,500 sq. ft.) back garden of our farmhouse, there are two freestanding tiny houses with a large private garden and their own entrance. Layout: Living room, kitchen equipped with combi oven, induction hob, refrigerator, and Dolce Gusto machine, bedroom with double box spring, bathroom with underfloor heating and rain shower, wood-burning stove, and sleeping loft.

Relax and unwind in our detached cottage in a natural setting, right next to the church in the heart of Oostwoud! Enjoy the views over the farmyard and the farmlands towards Abbekerk, Twisk/Opperdoes and Medemblik. Overlook continuous fishing and boating waters. Rent a boat or a SUP and go on the water! Nature reserve "Het Egboetswater" is nearby, and the beach of the sweet sea at Medemblik is also worth it. Cycling, walking, sailing or by car? You can go anywhere from here!

'Achter de Turf' new waterfront home

Welcome to our lovely house "Achter de Turf" in Medemblik. Located on the flowing water. At the front, there is ample parking for your car, and if you come by boat, you can moor it in Westerhaven. The house offers plenty of comfort and is within walking distance of the city center, where shops, restaurants and cozy terraces are available. Medemblik is located on the IJsselmeer and the surrounding dike where you can enjoy the West Frisian area. Amsterdam is a 50-km drive.

Welcome to our 'B and B 40 A'

Our B&B is located near the tourist center of Medemblik, on navigable water, with a parking space on private property. Our living room has an open kitchen with hob, Senseo, kettle, fridge, combi microwave. and there is Wi-Fi available. It is a complete cottage with its own front door, and from this ideally located accommodation you can cycle, sail, walk, to museums and or to the castle, or go on the scenic steam train to Hoorn, etc. You can also rent bicycles from us.

Romantic stay with a view from your bed on the water and a 2-person swing. From the love-seat you can watch TV or the fireplace (heating) and you have it cozy in the winter or you can sit outside on the terrace by the water in the summer to daydream, read or play games. Hot tub, kayak or 2 SUP boards can be booked. There are also bicycles, which you can borrow for free. The bathroom is 1 step outside the pipo and all for you.

This modern furnished holiday home is located in Opperdoes near the IJsselmeer lake. There is free Wi-Fi and parking at the house. Sheets and towels are included. The centre of Medemblik is only 2 kilometers away. Amsterdam and Callantsoog (North Sea beach) are a 40 minutes drive. Also Texel is nice to visit. This property is located on a site that is partly privately rented (and partly offered through Dormio Resort).
