The location between the main train station and the center is ideal for exploring Rostock's center on foot or taking the S-Bahn to Warnemünde to the beach.

There are a lot of good restaurants near by in differents little towns/villages. For a big shoppingtrip or cultural adventures you should go to Ludwigslust, Schwerin, Dannenberg or Lüneburg.
