Cozy Guesthouse on the Lake

A peaceful, quiet cover on the lake with lots of lake toys! Relax by the firepit or on the swing under the deck, or take a dip in the lake. You can also enjoy our kayaks, our paddleboard, or one of our several floats to lounge the day away! We have several life jackets available for various sizes but best to bring your own if you need one for a little one. You have your own space on a shared property. The owners live in the main house and happy to help as little or as much as needed!

Lakeside Oasis

Enjoy easy access to Charlotte, but feel like you are far from the chaos of the city in this centrally located haven. There is a jacuzzi with lakefront views for use by our guests. The house is lakefront and has 3 adult kayaks, 4 kid size kayaks, 2 paddle boards, and life jackets of various sizes for use as well. You can also swim and fish off the dock. Please check NC fishing laws. There is a marina located directly across the lake from the house that you can rent a pontoon boat from.

We are walking (or biking) distance from Veteran's Park offering tennis, hiking trails, sand volleyball, soccer and a wonderful playground for the kids. You can also fish on the property (catch and release), firepit/ grill out, ax throwing, corn hole and kayak or canoe on the pond!

Our secluded, lake front retreat has a variety of waterfowl, forest animals and stunning mile-long views of Lake Wylie. Your 450 Sq. Ft private cabin was built in 2023 and is nestled in the woods overlooking the river. Just minutes from the trendy small town of Belmont, w/ popular restaurants, pubs and boutiques. 5 min to Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens, 15 min to the National Whitewater Center, 30 min to uptown Charlotte. Three level deck, gazebo, floating dock, and a beach area with a firepit make it a perfect place to make memories. An ideal base to explore Charlotte and experience nature.

Come unplug, relax, and reconnect with your favorite people. See you at the lake! *Note: we are having our fishing pier upgraded during the Winter 2026 season and plan for it to be ready for use by the Spring!

Mountain Island Lake Lodge

This restored lake front log cabin is a fishing, kayaking, and water sports paradise on Mountain Island Lake. The home boasts professionally designed spaces inside and out, perfect for gathering with friends and family. Enjoy the water from the private dock with included kayaks and stand-up paddle boards, then end the day by the fire pit as the sun begins to set. Across the lake is the undisturbed shoreline of Latta Plantation, including miles of hiking trails.

Dog friendly for fur babies under 21 lb. Bottom floor is a separate unit with a full time tenant.
