The "chicken house"

The chicken house is located in the middle of the beautiful permagar, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhupten. Gabi and Guido live here their dream of independence and want to expand the farm in a sustainable and tedious way. For example, the walls and ceiling of the chicken house have been made from the more than 200-year-old floorboards of the main house. The apartment Loghomespace is located on the lower floor of the log cabin. It is lovingly decorated and has everything you need for a stay in an apartment. The log cabin stands on the Haselbachhof which is run by our family in the 3rd generation. The region is also called Mostindien, because of the many apple trees. 450 trees are on the Haselbachhof, in addition 40 dairy cows, 10 Angus suckler cows, 10 horses a few sheep, cats and dogs.

We offer a simple but equipped 44 sqm accommodation for uncomplicated guests in our former newly converted stable. Our farm is located in a quiet and beautiful environment. We do farming with cows, chickens, horses and cats. Our garden invites you to linger and in the rain there is a covered seating area. A sofa bed is available for a child, a travel cot can also be accommodated. Welcome!

Lovely gazebo with double bed (sofa bed) and bathroom. To heat the cottage, fire the heating fireplace, cozy warmth is safe! In summer, a mass camp in the stable is also available, e.g. for families. A kitchen is available, about 20 m from the cottage. On request, we provide breakfast per person at an extra cost of CHF 13.-, we are also happy to cook you. The meat comes from our animals.
