Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Meares Island

We had a great stay! It’s perfectly located - private and peaceful but close to Tofino and National park! Would recommend it any time! We were group of 4, there was everything we needed and Jay was very proactive with all instructions ☺️

We had such a nice stay at First Light. Home was very clean and so charming and the view is stunning. Our teens loved the hot tub and sauna. We loved looking for wildlife - lots of bald eagles. I loved being able to walk to downtown Tofino, would love to go back. Erika couldn’t have been nicer or more welcoming. We were really impressed with all the thoughtful details- there was fruit and chocolate for us as a welcome when we checked in. The home is vintage and I hope the 1970s original features will remain. The cedar walls and ceiling and vintage kitchen cabinets and light fixtures are amazing!

The Homestead is a beautiful home in a beautiful, quiet location with amazing views. The house is clean, and overall is good but has many small annoyances of items that haven’t been well maintained. - Stove top elements: some don’t work, those that do are very finnicky and jump from very hot to cool repeatedly while using - Kitchen sink is near to falling out / disconnecting from the counter - Dishwasher soap door is gone & can’t seem to change settings (but does still clean) - Blinds make a horrible high pitched squeal when rolling down - Window crank handles fall off when using - Shower handles super loose and wobbly - Downstairs toilet wobbles - Hot tub has a broken jet and some buttons that don’t work (but is still hot and bubbles) - Fireplace in photos is not usable

We had a lovely stay! The space was clean, quiet, private, and well-equipped. Super awesome to be able to walk to Mackenzie Beach so quickly!. Alex communicated very well and we felt that if we needed anything, we would be taken care of. We hope to return to this slice of paradise. Thank you for having us!!

What a pleasant stay we had at Tariq’s place! We were a group of 3 adults and 2 kids. Perfect location, walkable to downtown, close to a park for kids. The place is well kept, almost felt like we’re at a retreat! I’m big on clean bedding and the bed was very clean and comfortable. Great views of the ocean from the living room and balcony. Tariq was a great host, also helped us with some recommendations on things to do in Tofino. Really enjoyed our stay there. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Lovely hosts! Great location! Walkable to the restaurants. The place was clean, the rooms are spacious. The only thing missing was a microwave. Would recommend for a group of 6 or smaller, and will definitely stay again.

The pictures do not do this place justice. It is absolutely magical, in the perfect location, perched in the mountains yet right in the heart of town, with everything you could need. Highlights are the balcony with absolutely breathtaking views and an outdoor shower with these same views. Could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Great place to stay in central Tofino. Can walk to pretty much everywhere. House is very new, bright, tidy and comfortable (especially the beds and hot tub!) per photos on Airbnb. Brenna provided lot of info on how to enjoy the area and clear check in and check instructions. Will be recommending to friends and family considering a visit to Tofino.

Me and my family stayed for 11 days at Collin’s beautiful apartment and we loved each moment there. Spacious, modern and very clean house with scenic views, close to beach, trails and town’s center and equipped with everything you might need even for a longer stay. There are even puzzles, cards and board games for some quality family time after a busy day. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets from our patio and my son was thrilled to see deers visiting us each morning. This apartment is unique as it is a corner one, which means more privacy. It is also very convenient if you have a lot of luggage as there are no stairs. Collin was an amazing host, always replying very fast. We cannot wait to book this place for our next vacation in Ukee.

Willa was the best host ever!! So responsive and gave us lots of good recommendations for yummy food! Also went above and beyond cause my cousin left her clothes behind by accident and Willa will be mailing it to her since she lives in Winnipeg haha. Will definitely stay here again if I come back up to Tofino☺️

Gorgeous spot just a minutes away from Mackenzie beach. The unit was huge, comfy, cozy and peaceful. It was great!

Very nice, well-maintained and cozy accommodation - we enjoyed the view of the bay very much & also were able to watch a black bear in the distance. Everything was there, in the kitchen as well as in the bathroom. There is generous space for everything. Thank you for the lovely stay!

The place was located near downtown Tofino, ideal for walking back and forth. The host, Suzanne, was kind and gave us a nice walk through of the available activities. The room was clean and we only stayed for one night, but we would’ve gladly stayed longer. Definitely a rebook!

We had a wonderful stay in Gabriel’s condo. The location perfect for a visit to Ucluelet; close to local hikes, national parks and beaches. The condo has everything you need to feel right at home and is clean and secure. A bonus is its proximity to very good local eateries.

Lovely place to stay with an amazing view and everything one might need for an enjoyable stay. Full kitchen, well-stocked. Hot shower, comfortable bed. Great balcony. Walkable to everything Tofino has to offer. Celina was responsive and a pleasure deal with. We’d love to stay here again.

Stayed for a girls trip, location was perfect you are in the center of everything and are able to walk for food and shopping , every thing in the air bnb was very well laid out and instruction’s answer any questions you have about the place ! We loved it !

We loved our stay here. The place was beautiful and was a fantastic location - close to the centre of Tofino but on the water with beautiful views! Kyle was super helpful and very responsive if we had any questions! Couldn’t recommend more!

We had the sweetest time. Was the perfect place to get away from it all. The stay was heaven and a dream all-in-one.

Mark’s place is stunning and has everything you could need when staying away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The amount of space you get is perfect for a group of people. We never tired of looking at the views from the the balcony. Mark is a great host and we’d love to stay in his place again in the future.
