This home and hosts are both rare gems, from the ease of checking in to the homes beautiful ambiance, its makes a great place to get away and enjoy nature. We would love to come back and explore more of the trails and wineries.

My family and I had a great time staying in the home. The images did not do it justice. We were shocked by the beauty of the views and scenery from their home. The property was large and our kids had a blast running around and playing in the treehouse. Highly recommend the place if you like nature and scenery. The train did pass a few times but our kids (ages 2-7) were fine with white noise at night. It didn’t disrupt our time at all. We also really enjoyed the game room. My wife loved using the kitchen and we were thankful they kept some spices on hand. The home is very kid friendly and one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at. We grilled, watched the stars from the jacuzzi, picnicked and explored the grounds. We even got to use the laundry room with a quick help from the host. Highly recommend!!

Property is exactly as described and even nicer than the photos! Easy check-in and check-out. Very peaceful and quiet surroundings. We were in the area for a wedding and the property was very convenient to the venue, which was an added bonus! Kitchen and bathrooms nicely equipped. Highly recommend!

We were so very pleased with this home. A five star is hard to hand out but this home got it! This is a pet friendly home which you would not even know the house was so clean had no smells of pets. The pictures were accurate the views were amazing. We loved the area the town was quaint the local restaurant were very good. The hot tub was crystal clean. Rules were clearly and cutely posted made our stay very simple. 5stars for sure

This place saved us! We unexpectedly needed to make a last minute booking and this was perfect. We literally walked in 30 minutes after reaching out to a clean, welcoming space where we felt comfortable and relaxed. Our baby loved crawling around on the clean hardwood floors and all the linens were spotless. Would 100% books again.

Excellent home for a group! Hannah's beautiful mansion had everything we needed for a wedding party group for the weekend. The home sits on top of a hill and has a gorgeous view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The home slept 10 with way more space for many additional guests. No complaints about our stay and I would like to thank and commend Hannah for her prompt communication and flexibility with our group!

We had a wonderful getaway at Seths place in Rockingham. Perfect location for a group of 12 girlfriends that wanted to relax. Loved the pool and the porch/patio! Felt like Tuscany. Seth and Carla were extremely responsive to the couple of small issues we had. Definitely recommend.

Mary and Chris’s property felt like home for us!! We loved the cabin feel, the spacious layout and the well stocked kitchen. We had more than what we needed, as far as dishes to create some magical meals. Thank you for hosting our family and we will be sure to return the next time we are looking some relaxation!

We LOVED our stay here. The airstream had everything we needed and was comfortable. Beautiful deck to spend time on. The property with beautiful trails was so lovely. It was like having a national park to ourselves. And having animals to see was an extra touch. Communication with the host was very good. We hope to stay again!

Our stay at this Airbnb was incredible!!! The rooms and living spaces were comfortable and clean, and there was a ton of provided items such as towels for the hot tubs, blankets, games, and tons of kitchenware. The host was very responsive to questions and proactively provided information for check-in and check-out! The location was quiet and beautiful, and was the perfect cabin get away for our big group. Would definitely love to come back!

I've never stayed anywhere where,where I had such an attentive host but not annoying!!!! Answered any and every question I had in such an impressive timely manner, And was always checking in at the right time to make sure I was aware of things happening around me and where to get the information. Home is beautiful, clean, cozy, very well worth what I paid can't wait to return !

This place was amazing and had fantastic views! We had such a great stay, the set up is perfect to have fun as well as relax!

It was a great stay. Overall the resort is nice, there’s decent privacy (if out in the deck you could still hear other houses), everything was clean and the kitchen was fairly stocked. The only thing that wasn’t accurate in the posting was the downstairs deck. The couches were not cleaned and it wasn’t available to use. Any question we had to the host was answered quickly.

Everything was great, we had a great time. so many games and activities around the house, it was impossible to be bored.

This is my second stay and yet still plenty of new activities to be explored in the surrounding area. We spent a day visiting Shenandoah Valley stopping at each overlooks. We visited Harrisonburg and had a nice afternoon walk in the tranquil trails in JMU’s Edith J. Arboretum. One day we headed out for a visit to Natural bridge and stopped by a beautiful town Staunton. It’s such a lovely place and we ended up spending the rest of the day there, watching a play in the Shakespeare Theater and had a wonderful dinner at the Mill Street Grill. Definitely will visit again and save enough time checking out all its fascinating stores. Thanks to the hosts we were able to rest well in such a clean and comfortable house every evening, and cook a hot breakfast every morning before our adventure!

Our stay at Peaceful Pines for our son’s JMU graduation was great! It was easily accessible to campus and because it was pet-friendly, allowed us to bring our fur baby with us. Mike and April were gracious hosts, quick to respond to questions, and extremely helpful as we planned our trip. The home was spacious and beautifully furnished. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the deck, making s’mores over the fire pit, enjoying burgers cooked on the grill, and playing pool on the 3-seasons porch. I highly recommend Peaceful Pines for anyone visiting JMU and for those looking for a relaxing vacation at the Massanutten Resort.

We used this place as a stop on our road trip from DC to the Virginia Safari Park, after visiting Luray Caverns—and it was perfect! The kitchen was fully equipped, which made meals easy. The pool table was awesome and kept everyone entertained. We also loved the outdoor fire pit—great for making s’mores and relaxing in the evening. There were plenty of extra air mattresses, so everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. The house was spacious and more than enough for our group of 10. Kent was very communicative and responsive, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this place for families or groups traveling through the area!
