Family-friendly vacation rentals in Mazamet

We had a great stay in this very nice house, located in the middle of nature—very calm and peaceful. The check-in was easy with a concierge system from the owner (they also manage other houses in the area). The house is big and comfortable, with a large kitchen and living room. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The decoration is like a small museum, full of beautiful objects from local shops and galleries, mixed with modern comfort. Beds are large and very comfortable. Everything is provided: bed linen, towels, and even bathrobes. The amenities are excellent: hot tub with jets, outdoor jacuzzi, heated pool, and gas barbecue. The owners answered very quickly when we had questions.

Perfect accommodation in a pleasant, peaceful and quiet setting. The summer kitchen as well as the kitchen in the house were very well equipped. Boules court, heated pool with many deckchairs, ping pong table, foosball, everything is well thought out for vacationers. Stephane and his wife are responsive, welcoming and warm.

We mostly dealt with Laura during our stay. It was perfect I recommend Well thought out, relaxing setting and lots to do in the area. We had our dogs with us, perfect setting for walking with them We'll go back.

We had a very nice stay. The view from the apartment was even better than on the pictures, the hot tub was a nice extra, the hosts were very friendly and being able to get breakfast in the morning was a good benefit. We only stayed for one night, but would definitely recommend Fred's place for longer stays.

The home was beautiful and in a great central location. Owners were friendly and helpful, and parking was easy. Would recommend!

We went there with a group of 17 people. Everything went really well! Lots of activities available (darts, ping-pong, sauna), a view of fouuuuu, and a really excellent overall atmosphere. It's a great place to party. For those wondering if there are people next to Airbnb: yes, the host lives on the same land. However, everything is well soundproofed inside, so no noise concerns to be expected. Host is very nice! A little special mention for her two really adorable dogs. Giselle barks a little, but don't worry, he's a real love ahah. Anyway, I recommend it ++ (Feel free to call the host directly to book without going through Airbnb, it can save a little!)

We left very grateful to Martine for this stay, it was just perfect. The house is very well equipped and impeccably clean, the nature around is beautiful, and all of the well-being activities made these two days unforgettable. Would love to be back again!

Everything was really exactly as described :-) The accommodation is surrounded by nature and it is really very pleasant to have your first coffee on the terrace :-)

The cottage offered by Fanny is very nice: large, cozy and very pleasant. The environment is conducive to rest. We had a great Christmas holiday.

Lise's place is fabulous. It is spacious, clean and has everything you need, just like home. The park is beautiful . My grandchildren loved playing there all together. Supermarkets are 5 km away, there are all the stores you want up to Action ..... The village is easily accessible on foot, there is a supermarket, tobacco, pizzeria ..... the quiet of the property is very relaxing. There are lots of games in the basement, racket games, badminton... we played a lot. Towels and dish towels as needed. There are also board games and lots of books. This house has a soul and we thank Lise very much for hosting us but also for her kindness and availability. And thank you for letting us enjoy it longer than expected. Great little apartment, very convenient location right by steps up to the old town. You can see the old city from the attractive back terrace. Well equipped. Easy check in and check out. Would happily stay here again. For guests using the sofabed please note no proper door between the bedroom and the living room.

Trip short but perfect! The setting is peaceful, the view is magnificent, perfect for a stay with family or friends. Catherine is super responsive, pleasant and left us lots of little touches (artisanal juices, homemade jams and fresh flowers). Very well-equipped accommodation, it really feels like home. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay!!

We had a fantastic trip, Marie-Cecile & Leonce are the most welcoming and helpful hosts. The apartment is well perfectly situated between the castle and the centre of town with a beautiful garden and close to the river. Couldn't recommend this more.

Stuart and Jacquie’s place is perfect. Picturesque setting, totally peaceful. They actually have two properties available to rent (each with private pool and garden) which is perfect for extended families or friends needing more space. The house is beautiful - well designed, furnished and equipped. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning is efficient. The garden and pool are private and quiet - the perfect place for a relaxing break. We’ll definitely be back.

We enjoyed 5 days in this lovely town house in Carcassonne. We loved spending time in the beautiful private & peaceful walled garden & in the pool. We also enjoyed having breakfast outside on the patio each am. The BBQ was great too. Sandrine was a a very responsive & helpful host. A bottle of red wine was waiting for us when we arrived! It was easy to stroll into town for a coffee or lunch or an evening meal. We could also easily walk to a nearby local patisserie, carrefour & a take away pizzeria. We enjoyed walking along the River Aude to the Medieval City. Renting bikes to cycle along the Canal du Midi to Trebes was great fun. We also rented a car & enjoyed a wonderful sunny day on the beach at Vias Plage. Thank you for a great stay 😊!

We had an amazing stay at Lea Coumayares. The gîtes are beautiful and so are the surroundings. Our little children had the best time with all the toys, the playground and the pool. Graham was a really attentive and responsive host, he gave us great tips and was very friendly and easy in the communication. We definitely recommend staying with him. A great place to get some rest and to explore the area from!
