Places to stay in Mazama

Pictures don't do this place justice!! There is so much thought put into every detail of this space and it made for a wonderfully relaxing experience. My friends and I are already talking about renting again.

I stayed 6 weeks at this beautiful separate home. It was safe, clean, quiet, managed well, and maintained perfectly with reliable and fast WiFi. Great access to XC ski trails: 5 minutes drive to the town trail and 15 minutes to Mazama and the trailhead at Sun Mountain. And you can walk a few minutes to restaurants in town, which was very convenient. The layout is very good as the kitchen has full sized appliances and the lighting throughout the home is fantastic. I stayed in the coldest weather and was able to stay warm with the electric heating. It just requires some tuning - the fireplace space heater times out every 9 hours, the temperature on each device is controlled a little differently, and you need to be careful which plugs you use for space heaters. There was also a large cupboard/storage area in the bedroom and a very comfortable king bed. I highly recommend staying here!

Excellent stay close to the Methow trails for XC skiing! Very private, but less than a 5 minute drive to a few trailheads. Perfect location, close to downtown Winthrop and a short drive to Mazama! Michael’s place was clean, comfortable, and a perfect home base for our winter adventures.

Location, location, location! This is THE place if you want to be right in the middle of everything, yet hear nothing. Cross the street to a bar, or walk a half block to a brewpub and a cantina. Plenty of shops to peruse; amazing coffee 2 blocks away. The only time we used the car was to leave town to snowshoe and check out local sites. Bed was super comfy, and the smart TV was appreciated. All in all, exactly what we were looking for. Will stay again!

awesome place for a base camp to check out the surrounding areas. Had so many little amenities and breakfast set was very nice!

Great stay! Cute cabin. Lots of trails nearby. Everything was walking distance but still felt private. Highly recommend! :)

The house is beautiful, very well stocked, and extremely comfortable. It is located outside of the main street of Winthrop but right on the ski trail. The kids stepped out of the house and went skiing at all hours!
