The hosts are lovely, very cozy, beautiful renovation. Incredibly comfortable mattress. But if you are not a couple, then the room "Romance" is not for you. The toilet is in the room behind the small partition without a door. No privacy. Plus, the room is above the kitchen and from 7 in the morning you can hear breakfast.

We booked our stay at the Manoir at the very last minute and couldn’t have been happier when we really fell on our feet. The place is a dream - a beautiful historic house with huge grounds and the freedom to use the many facilities there. Vivienne is an outstanding host; nothing was too much trouble for her and she was very generous with her time and expertise, taking us on carriage rides alongside the river and going out riding with my niece, who rediscovered her childhood love of being on horseback. We took full advantage of the bigger plunge pool - you may not be able to swim lengths in it but it was wonderfully refreshing in the heat. We wanted total isolation and relaxation and this was the ideal place. But if you want it, there is masses to do, both on site and in the local area. We loved all the animals, loved the countryside, the riverside creperie a few miles away, but perhaps the most special thing was having the run of such a fabulous place but knowing Vivienne was on hand (very unobtrusively!) if we needed anything. It was a truly brilliant holiday.

Very nice and pleasant hosts. We were hosted very well. We slept there for 3 days for the Le Mans event, the calm and the environment did us a lot of good in the evening to rest. Very good bedding, and very nice bathroom. Small plus for breakfast in the morning which is ready very early. In summary, a very good welcome, a superb setting and a home that is worth the price. Thank you for this weekend.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying with Oliver and Denis. Thy are such friendly and charming people! Their place is very cozy and beautifully decorated. Oliver nd Denis make everything possible to make you feel at home. As for their garden, it was the main reason why I decided to stay at this place. The garden is beautiful on the photographs but it's even better when you actually see it. I am a gardener myself and I absolutely admire there taste and imagination. The breakfast was fantastic! It was also a great relief for us that we could easily reach the center of the city by foot. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

An excellent warm and personal welcome was provided to our family. Ariane and family welcomed us into their home and were extremely friendly. They provided a lovely French breakfast with fresh eggs and pancakes. Both ourselves and our children loved our stay! If passing through again we would definitely return. Thoroughly recommend.

We loved staying with Chantal. Everything about her home was warm and inviting. We loved her two pet dogs and her pet parrot who speaks quite well! Chantal was so gracious to my daughter and I. We arrived on a Sunday and in the area we were staying no restaurants were open. However, Chantal took the time to prepare a lovely dinner and dessert for us. Such a lovely beautiful woman. We only spent one night in this beautiful home in the charming village of Lassay-les-Châteaux. I recommend this detour! Sandrine and Marc are very available and welcoming hosts. Thanks to them for their dinner recommendations. We enjoyed a nice evening at the pub in Victor (original decor and good music) and bella pizzas. The beautiful family room upstairs that was our dedicated room is very spacious and tastefully decorated (as shown in the photos); the bathroom is excellent. Traditional breakfast in a beautiful atypical dining room! We'll be happy to go back!
