I had a wonderful stay at this villa! The views were absolutely stunning—waking up to that scenery every day was a real treat. The overall ambiance was calm, cozy, and inviting, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Both the indoor and outdoor areas were spacious and beautifully maintained, offering plenty of room to unwind, dine, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The staff was amazing—attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. A special shoutout to the chef Ranga who was fantastic and prepared delicious hotel-style meals that made the experience feel even more luxurious. it was a truly memorable stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape with great service and stunning views.

I would like to thank Lalin and caretaker Hettiarchchi for welcoming us to this luxurious property which i considered a hidden gem. Coming through the gates is a feeling i cannot describe and can only be experienced if you book and stay. Amenities as stated, place was spotless and caretaker was available late at night when we had questions. To anybody looking to explore Colombo or neighbouring areas i highly recommend to spend your nights at (that place) 🙂. You will not regret it. I will be retuning here again for sure. Wow! This place is incredible, if you love golf you’ll be in heaven. I’ve never played at a more friendly club ever! The members are so welcoming and we made some awesome friends here that we will keep in touch with. Alan is a great host and did even more than required we feel really privileged to have met such wonderful people. His property is amazing, you won’t be disappointed, along with his care taker and house keeper we felt relaxed, safe and well looked after. Our 10 day stay here will be hard to beat, we can’t wait to come back!

We had a great stay and Janith's Airbnb. Really good communication, and care taker was around if we needed any help with anything. Perfect for a group stay. Was clean, tidy. Pool was exactly what you needed with the heat and lit up in the evening so you could still enjoy it at night time. Would recommend... looking Forward to coming back :)

Our stay at Somaland was an incredible experience! We were treated like royalty yet felt completely relaxed and like at home. The colonial mansion is very beautiful. Impeccably preserved and kept, luxurious and comfortable, it’s huge and full of exquisite furnishings. Such a rare opportunity to be able to stay in such a magnificent residence with such history, surrounded by peaceful gardens and lush landscape. Our trip was only enhanced by the divine attention and service of Nilani and Gamage. They welcomed us into the home and looked after us like special family members. So thoughtful and kind and fun. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an extraordinary and wonderful experience. Pieter the host was incredibly helpful and attentive with many extra tips along the way. My stay was absolutely fantastic! The property is nestled in a beautiful hill station, surrounded by stunning views that made my trip unforgettable. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, providing excellent local tips that made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Waking up to the serene landscape each morning was a highlight of my trip. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature. Can’t wait to come again.

Great place for large families. It might not be too safe for little children or the very old as there are multiple stair cases but there is one bedroom located in the ground level. Location is great. Close to grocery stores. Quiet neighborhood.

Clarence's place is just wonderful! It is very spacious, airy, light, comfy and beautiful. All our family enjoyed staying at Clarence. He is a great host, always responding quick and making the best to please his guests. The other members of Clarence's family must be mentioned too. They all are very polite, friendly and hospitable. The balcony, which better be called a terrace, is huge and the view is stunning. Everything is great, highly recommended for families and people who prefer tranquility over a busy city. To call a taxi we used "pick me" app. It is very cheap and useful.

Excellent Stay at Champika's house! My husband recently staying at Champika's property in Malabe, and it exceeded our expectations! The house was exactly as described: immaculately clean, cozy, and conveniently located. Champika was an exceptional host, extremely responsive and attentive to our needs. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Colombo. It's a perfect blend of comfort and accessibility.

This is a newly built, beautiful and modern little place conveniently located very close to Homagama town. The surrounding is peaceful and private. The host was solid and very responsive. He was very attentive and flexible and tends to your needs. The house is comfortable and beautiful and fitted with all the amenities needed. Highly recommend this place!

My kids loved the house. So did I. It is a beautifully and uniquely designed house. It was clean, comfortable, relaxing, and practical. The kitchen had all amenities that you would need at home. The laundry machine with detergent was a bonus. All bedrooms had a functioning AC. We had a very nice sleep. We used only two bedrooms but there was one more room. The host was friendly, responsive, and caring. We chose this house because it was close to the Leisure World Water Park which was about 1.5 km away. The host kindly arranged a tuktuk ride both way’s. All in all, we had such a great stay. It was beyond our expectation.

Thushara's place is great value for money. He has provided all amenities for a very comfortable stay. I woukd also like to thank Aruna who made the check in and check out process so convinient for us. I would higly recommend Thushara's place for any one looking for comfort and value for money.

We had a lovely stay in Bird Nest! The view from the room was absolutely stunning, just like in the pictures. The room itself was comfortable and matched the listing, with working AC and hot water in the shower. Tenna and his wife were incredibly kind; they even welcomed us with tea when we arrived and again before we left. Tenna also helped us with our luggage, which we really appreciated. We did notice a few insects in the room, but it’s something that could be easily managed with insecticides. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend Bird Nest to travelers looking for a peaceful stay with warm hospitality in Kandy.

This place is an absolute hidden gem! Tucked away in the middle of nowhere, it offers complete privacy and peaceful surroundings—just what we needed to unwind. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. We enjoyed cooking some of our own meals, while the lovely village family treated us to some delicious home-cooked dishes as well. Bala, the manager, was an absolute sweetheart, always warm, kind, and smiling. We’re already looking forward to coming back whenever we need a break from our busy Colombo life!

In a nutshell, the whole layout of the house was beyond expectations and matched Australian standards. Everything was pristinely clean and the kitchen was fully equipped and even included an air fryer. Though we didn't cook during our six-week stay, as our friends and family supplied our meals, we appreciate the amenities. The beautiful garden and the peaceful and secure neighbourhood, made us feel safe as if we were in our own home. The owner's father who lived nearby was very helpful and approachable. Every little detail has been addressed and even the universal plugs and switchboard were thoughtfully provided for our own appliances. Another major attraction and a favourite was the washing and drying space provided on the rooftop, which gave us a good view of the surrounding area and the wildlife. Can be fully recommended to anyone who values a clean, peaceful and spacious home while travelling.

This is a 147 year old bungalow, and the stay was simply fantastic. We loved everything about the house and the host was fantastic to stay awake late in the night to welcome us after a tiring day for us. I would highly recommend this place to others.

We had a really nice experience in this AirBnB. The owner and his brother were really kind and helpful! It’s even bigger than on the photos and has a nice view and very calm. You should know that there can be some insects like ants or mosquitos since it is directly surrounded by nature, which was no problem for us :)

We had a lovely 1 night at Upul’s place. We didn’t want to stay in Kandy as we wanted more peace so found Upul’s place just a bit further south. The house is beautiful and will only continue to get better as they are in the middle of building a roof terrace as well! We loved the minimalist style decor against the beautiful vibrant green views out of the window. Saw lots of lovely birds from the terrace and watched an amazing thunder storm roll in. There a shops and a couple of family style restaurants walking distance but mostly this is a quiet, more remote area if you don’t have your own vehicle. Everything was clean. The address is difficult to find but Upul will come and find you on the road to follow him in. Would recommend !

I spent 3 weeks in this wonderful villa and I had a great time here, it even exceeded my expectations! The villa is brand new, with the latest and best quality furniture! The bathrooms are beautiful, the spaces are spacious! Everything is perfectly clean. You can see cute monkeys and squirrels in your garden every day. The host is very attentive and kind, she takes care of you. She prepared the most delicious food in the world for me, and she also paid special attention to the fact that I am a vegetarian. But if you want home delivery, or to do shopping through the PickMe app, or to order a taxi, then the villa works perfectly too. I highly recommend staying here, you will have a fantastic experience, you can only have a good time here! I will definitely come back here!
