Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Matten bei Interlaken

I consider myself lucky to have discovered this quiet oasis in the vineyards of Vallamand. Naomi and Romain were there when I needed them and left enough privacy, even though they live in the same house. The interaction was very pleasant. The studio is a perfect place for singles with a need for rest as well as for couples to experience a change of scenery and enjoy the most beautiful view of Lake Murten and the vineyard landscape. The garden seating area is like another world, the furnishings are simple, but very atmospheric. A Denner is easily accessible nearby via a walk. I would love to come back another time, because I feel reborn after the stay. Thank you so much Naomi and Romain for the wonderful stay!

We loved the place ! We used it as our base to explore Switzerland with a eurail train pass, did day trips to Zurich, Basel, Geneva, Lauterbrunnen, Thun, Interlaken and Bern. Walkable distance from the train station, also a beautiful walk in a pretty village circled by mountains. The place was squeaky clean and had everything we needed. Very friendly host, was responsive and gave clear instructions. We even had a binder explaining how to use the ameneties and with local recommandations. Would go back if I was to travel to Switzerland again !

This place is amazing. The property is big with all the amenities and a great garden. The 3 bathrooms make the stay very convenient. It is located very close to the lake and lucerne city center. The owner, Giuseppe, is friendly, provided all needed instructions and set up the cot for us. There is also one parking spot available. Definitely a great stay in Lucerne.

I was happy to be able to eat delicious and fresh strawberries. The surrounding environment was very peaceful and nice. The bathroom was not cramped and the cleaning condition was good.

This rental is a gem and absolutely incredible in so many ways. It's a perfect location, being a ways from the road for quiet privacy, but very close to Interlaken and many hikes in the area. Seraina was immediately helpful, super friendly, and very communicative, making us feel welcome as if we were part of the neighborhood as soon as we arrived. Next time I come to the area I will skip the whole hotel process and come right here to check availability.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. We loved it's proximity to both bus stations, corner grocery store, to the train station and a short walk to Lake Brienz. Best location in my opinion. The house was quite lovely, had everything you needed to feel at home. Kim was approachable, very accomodating and responsive to my messages. You'll definitely enjoy your stay here. This may have been the coolest place I have ever stayed! You should absolutely book this place if you have the opportunity. The hot tub alone has a perfect view of Staubbachfall while you are in it, and a really cool light setup - the waterfall is also lit up at night! This place was truly magical! Inside was amazingly cozy, and had all you could need for a stay like this. The deck had a perfect view of the valley with an amazing place to wake up every morning and drink coffee. The hosts were absolutely wonderful! I ran into some issues with Airbnb (no fault of theirs) and they went out of their way to help us and solve the issue! Truly some of the best hosts I’ve ever experienced! Very responsive through messaging, and were wonderful showing us the place. I would definitely book here again and hope to.

This was honestly the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at! Super cozy, very thoughtful set up with all the amenities clearly laid out and beautiful location overlooking Swiss mountain peaks. We had an amazing stay and Katija was a great host 🤩

We loved our stay. Weather was perfect so we had amazing views of the mountains from the balcony. Everything in the apartment was fine, not a full kitchen but able to use microwave and kettle. Very quiet location and only 220m to busstop that connected to Ost and West train stations. Very nice host. Highly recommended.

The place is absolutely stunning. So peaceful and exactly what I was expecting from lauterbrunnen. You need to take the bus from the train station to access the property, but I loved that as it was outside the busy area. The only downside is the very late check in (4pm) and early check out. Otherwise the place is clean, and the staff/host are very responsive and nice. Would definitely recommend it.

This place is centrally located in the heart of Lauterbrunnen but still remains quiet and tranquil just out of the way of the Main Street / restaurants and can sleep easily. Easy to go and see all the sights either by walking or bus. The train station is just a 7 minute walk as well and opens up further areas around to explore. The flat is perfect as a base and the kitchen enables you to self cater more cheaply as the restaurant food prices are quite expensive. There’s a local coop supermarket that has lots of food to cook. Shower is also really nice, powerful and hot. Manuela is also really nice and very helpful and insightful giving tips of where to go and what to see. We also arrived early and was allowed to check in with no problems as the property was ready which was a lovely bonus :) Definitely recommend and if we come again we will deffo stay here! PS the flat/TV has “Blue” which meant I could watch Arsenal vs PSG which was nice extra as well! Thank you Joe and Stef

The view is everything! Must have a car if in this area, garage is provided and nice to have. The washer and dryer is very convenient. Home is well depicted in pictures. Television is upstairs only. A big plus is the access to the hotel spa and pool, very conveniently located just a 2 min walk. The mattress in our opinion was far too soft for our liking but that is our preference. Overall nice place and would recommend. If we are looking to stay in the same area again we would be happy to come back.

We had been looking for a modern apartment for our holiday on Lake Lucerne for a long time and then came across Roshan's great Scandinavian furnished, bright and friendly apartment. We felt very comfortable from the beginning, it has everything you need - compact, high-quality and cozy. Mattress is excellent, we slept super well. The roof terrace is beautifully located towards the forest hill and you can hear a lot of nature. That's really great. The roof in the back protects you from the sounds of the road and railway tracks by the lake. The communication was exemplary and super friendly! You can quickly walk to the lake, boat, train and in the village with baker, butcher and Lidl. Logistically top location! We highly recommend the apartment and will be happy to come back ourselves.

It's so, so good, but a little expensive. Grindelwald Terminal (Jungfrau) was 2-3 minutes on foot. It was too much. The wind was overwhelming. It 👍👍👍👍was so good :) I think I'll go again next time. ^_^

The host was warm, professional, and provided clear instructions for check-in, along with great local tips for hikes, restaurants, and sightseeing. We especially appreciated the welcome Swiss chocolate and a guidebook—it was such a thoughtful touch! We had a very cozy and peaceful stay at Ursula’s farmhouse. It is located on a beautiful hillside with amazing views. The washing machine was helpful and the cat was very affectionate! Would love to come back someday.

This property was not o ly beautiful and had everything we needed. They also provided a map of the town, the bus schedule and information to help us navigate launterbrunnen. This information was super helpful and relieved some of the pressure of being in a new place. The host also helped us store our bags so we didn't have to hold them for hours before our train ride to the next town. Upon picking up our bags, we met Rob. He was very friendly, easy to speak to and kind. I would absolutely choose to stay here again when we come back to visit! Thanks again Sarah and Rob!

Andrea's Airbnb was a nice 3-night stay for me in the middle of a much longer trip. I needed a place to decompress, do laundry, and recover from international flights and jetlag. Andrea's condo in Spiez was a spacious and convenient choice. The condo is a short walk from the picturesque town and the train station, and the neighborhood was very quiet while I was there. I agree with the suggestion to take the bus up the hill from the train station to the stop near the condo if you are carrying luggage or groceries. I also agree with reviewers that mentioned the lack of a microwave, which was OK for a short stay but I would miss if I rented for a longer time. The grocery store is near the train station and walkable. I will caution that almost everything in town is closed on Sunday, so if you arrive on a Saturday then pick up enough groceries to tide you over to Monday. There's a small convenience store at the train station if you have to buy on Sunday. I would stay here again.

The view from Eva’s place is absolutely stunning — you can see the whole lake from the window. The only thing is the curtains are a bit sheer, so the sunlight wakes you up early. Still, a lovely stay overall!

Rudolf was friendly, personable, helpful and attentive. I highly recommend staying here for the incredible scenery and truly unforgettable experience.
