Stordalen is a Northwest entrance to Stølsheimen landscape conservation area. About 1.5 hours drive from Bergen. Grocery at Ostereidet, and at Haugsvær. Mountain lodge with dining. Magnificent view over the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. Short distance by car and 500 m from E39. No need for your own car!

Opplev det enkle og fredelige hyttelivet midt i nydelig vestlandsnatur. Omgitt av fjell, elver, vann og skog ligger denne lille hytten tibaketrukket til. Her får du virkelig følelsen av å være midt i naturen. Området byr på fine turmuligheter både mot Stølsheimen og Matrefjellene. For klatrere ligger det flotte feltet for buldring i Matre en 5 minutt kjøretur unna, og en flott storvegg er like ved hytten. Hytten har også sin helt egen buldrestein et par minutters rusletur unna.
