We had a great time in the baker's house, it's in a great location for visiting the Sassi of Matera. In addition, Cosimo was very kind and helpful, in Matera there was a problem with the water pipes and he took care of bringing us water tanks so we wouldn't run out. We will definitely recommend, thank you!

Eleanor’s place was perfect. What a great location. Easy walk to the Saadi. The view from the balcony was beautiful! The apartment was very clean, spacious and has everything you may need. There was a lovely breakfast each morning to bring to our apartment. We highly recommend Eleonora’s place.

We stayed in the B&B for two days and had a great time. The property is very nice and located in a very quiet area within the historic center. Girolamo was super courteous and helpful with us, he always made sure we didn't miss anything and during check-in he explained everything to us in detail.

What more could we have asked for in a romantic weekend getaway?! Marilisa and Raffaele are amazing hosts who had everything prepared for our arrival. They were extremely helpful and attentive to our needs and wants. Located about 30 minutes away from Matera and about 50 minutes from Taranto, Laterza is the perfect mid point for a mountain/beach weekend. If you don’t want to travel much outside the area, Laterza itself is a beautiful city to soak in as well. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay here again!!!

a fantastic stay in this B&B. The location is perfect, well connected to the center. The room is amazing: a whirlpool in the center of the room, a fireplace that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and an antique rose window that adds elegance. Soft, warm lighting completes the experience, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The owner was very kind and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. a magnificent historic property fully modernized. immediate parking. perfectly centered and walkable everywhere, pharmacy, dentist, city hall and of course the Patisseries and fabulous restaurants. Fabi is a gracious and responsive host. I'll be back for certain.

I'm very, very satisfied The house was so clean and it was a convenient structure to organize my luggage, the house was warm, and the hot water came out well. It was also close to the ruins, so I was able to walk. It was the most pleasant place to stay in Italy

If we ever come back to Matera, I would want to stay here again. It's in the Sasso Caveoso, but close enough to the modern city that parking is easy in a nearby garage (totally worth paying for). Our hostess gave us the address of the parking garage, and we met her there on day one and she walked us to the apartment. I loved this extra personal attention and hospitality. That alone made our stay nice. But the apartment - Wow - bigger than the photos showed, with great views, a nice spacious bathroom with an excellent shower, comfortable bed, and close to great sights and restaurants. Also it is quiet and very private with the cutest entrance and even a friendly neighborhood cat (bring cat treats if you're a cat person). Brava, Marcella and thank you.

There are people and people. Anita, our host, belongs by right to the second category: immediately friendly, welcoming and professional, everything is easy with her. The house is perfect for groups, comfortable, clean and relaxing. Petra and her husband welcomed us into their beautiful little house, really well cared for in every detail. They gave us a lot of advice and were helpful and friendly. The house is then located right next to a very good braceria recommended by the owners. We were also offered a great breakfast. Convenient location for touring Matera, Gravina and Bari.

We had a wonderful stay at Luciana, everything was as expected and more! The room is very spacious and clean, you are in the heart of Matera with stunning view from the balcony and walking distances to all main attractions/restaurants. Breakfast excellent, served on the balcony. And as for walking, Luciana explained to us each part of the old town on a map, so we don’t miss anything :). Also helped a lot before arriving with bus schedules and tips. There are a lot to say, but we felt like being home, in a wonderful place.

Mariagiovanna's place is lovely. She is very kind and the detail of bringing us croissants for breakfast and a nice piece of focaccia made us very happy. Altamura is beautiful.

The apartment was fabulous - clean & spacious. Giuseppe was the best host - kind & responsive. The location was ideal - so close to everything. The terrace was even better than I’d expected! The property, an ancient tannery expertly renovated, is a perfect balance between history and modern comfort. Every corner tells a story, with details that make you feel part of the tradition of this enchanting corner of Basilicata. The atmosphere you can breathe is unique, quiet and immersed in nature, a real retreat to regenerate. The room was cozy, elegant and equipped with every comfort, but what impressed me the most was the attention to detail and the harmony with the surrounding environment. Breakfast prepared with fresh ingredients and typical of the area, authentic flavors that make you appreciate the beauty of the area even more.
