The apartment was the perfect base for exploring Catania. The location is unbeatable as everything is at walking distance, and yet outside of the turistic area. Lots of things to do and try nearby, especially in the market. It really gives you a glance at the authentic sicilian everyday life. But what truly sets this place apart is the kidness of the host. Nausicaa is very friendly and understanding, very responsive to our needs and she really helped us through an unexpected event. Would highly recommend this apartament and would love to come back!

Paolos Unterkunft war perfekt für die Erkundung des wunderschönen Taormina. Das Auto haben wir in einem nahegelgenden Parkhaus gelassen, welches uns Paolo empfohlen hat. Von dort aus war es sehr unkompliziert die Wohnung zu finden. In der Unterkunft hat man alles was man braucht. Sie ist perfekt für ein bis zwei Personen. Würde ich auf jeden Fall wieder buchen, wenn ich nochmal in Taormina bin!

Roberto ci ha accolto molto calorosamente, la casa è molto pulita e accogliente e c'è un ottimo ristorante nelle vicinanze, c'è una chiesa vicino alla casa con una vista molto bella, molto raccomandabile, se tornerò in Sicilia la prossima volta, sceglierò di soggiornare di nuovo in questa casa!

We stayed here for 3 nights over Easter weekend. Paola was very responsive from the moment we made the booking. She also assisted with restaurant recommendations. Her father - who stays just below - was incredibly helpful and friendly! He offered us some home made sweets which is part of their cultural celebration of Easter and made us feel at home and welcome.

Giuseppe was one of the most kindest & most helpful hosts I’ve ever met. He was there for us from our initial booking up until when we checked out. He was flexible with us checking in & departing which really helped us with our travel plans. He took time out of his busy schedule to meet us at the apartment which made it easier for us. The property has parking & is on the 4th floor & has a lift which we used on several occasions. When using the lift we met some of the neighbours who were lovely & very friendly. The apt itself is very big & some rooms are locked (no problem) & we still had the choice of using 2 of the bedrooms. The balcony was also spacious & we could see Mount Etna in the background whilst drinking a glass of wine in the sun. We stayed in Central Catania at the beginning of our trip & as this property was a 20 min walk away it was still great as we explored different places. There is a Metro nearby along with cafes, supermarkets & local restaurants which we used.

Super séjour ! Le logement est trop mignon et son hôte très gentil ! Il est idéalement placé en plein centre de Catane, dans un quartier où on se sent safe, près de tout à 5 min à pied. C’était très propre, idéal pour un couple ou deux ami(e)s. Je recommande 🌸

Silvia was very responsive and helpful with all matters. The place was spacious and perfect for us ( 2 kids and 2 adults) The location is great and super central and the available parking a necessity when you have a car.

très bon séjour ! accueil formidable, les explications de la femme de Paolo nous ont été d'une grande utilité, c'est un vrai guide touristique 😀. logement très bien situé, à deux pas de tout et des transports pour visites à l'extérieur de la ville ( aéroport, Taormine,Syracuse , plages etc...) Le logement est très accueillant et très bien équipé. Et nous avons adoré la région, bref, que du positif, grand merci !

The apartment has everything you need, the kitchen is well equipped. Although it's close to the main square and the touristic centre it's a quiet neighbourhood. Tania welcommed me warmly and checked in regulary in case I needed anything. Grazie!

Un soggiorno davvero piacevole! La casa è comoda, ben posizionata e dotata di tutti i comfort necessari. Ci si sente davvero a proprio agio, in una zona tranquilla ma con tutto a portata di mano. Martina è stata un’host fantastica, sempre disponibile e pronta a fare di tutto per rendere il soggiorno speciale. Consigliatissimo!

Melania et sa famille ont été très réactifs par message et très accueillants ! C’est un endroit très paisible, un havre de paix en plein cœur de la nature, les photos ne seront jamais à la hauteur de la beauté du lieu ! Une vraie pépite. Je recommande vivement ! Merci pour votre accueil

We were really happy to have booked Emanuela e Mariagiovanna's place during our trip to Sicily! We planned to visit mount Etna and avoid the crazy traffic and noise of the bigger cities that we had been experiencing in Sicily , so the place was a perfect choice as it is around 30m by car to it. It is also accessible to visit Taormina and Siracusa. The house is extremely comfortable, with all the necessary amenities, beautifully decorated and clean! The hosts are very kind and responsive, we ended up taking longer for our check in than planned and they were supper accommodating towards us. We recommend Emanuela e Mariagiovanna's place for your Sicily trip!

Majutuskoht on hästi askeetlik kuid kõik vajalik on olemas. Küll aga tuleb ise osta tee, kohvi, pesuvahendid ja muud igapäevatarbed, mis paljudes majutuskohtades on olemas. Seega pikemaks peatumiseks sobib hästi. Asukoht see-eest on suurepärane. Väga lähedal Piazza del Duomo, supermkarketid, rongijaam, bussijaam - kõik on jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Omaette majake annab mõnusa privaatsuse ja hubase olemise.

This is my second time to stay here and I truly love it. Graziella and Alessandro are the perfect hosts and make you feel very welcome. They respond swiftly to all communication. We very much appreciated the bowl of lemons and white wine! Thank you both. The views are amazing and the balcony is the spot to be for the beautiful sunrises and breakfast. The walk up is steep but as others say, it is definitely worth it. I highly recommend it to others.

Jestem bardzo zadowolona z pobytu w tym miejscu. Łóżko było chyba najwygodniejsze z tych, w których kiedykolwiek spałam. Apartament jest bardzo wygodny, przytulny i doskonale wyposażony. Zlokalizowany w spokojnym miejscu, blisko do ważnych atrakcji, a jednocześnie bez problemu z parkingiem. Gospodarz bardzo przyjazny i pomocny. Polecam pobyt w tym miejscu z całego serca!

Ideal para una noche de paso El alojamiento es sencillo, sin lujos, pero cumple muy bien con lo necesario para pasar una noche de descanso. El dormitorio y el baño estaban limpios y en buen estado. Lo único a tener en cuenta es que se accede a los dormitorios por una escalera al ático, lo cual puede resultar incómodo, especialmente para personas mayores o con movilidad reducida.

Som alle andre besøgende har skrevet er udsigten perfekt, Maria er meget informerende og havde indkøbt forskellige madvarer. Eneste ting som jeg ikke synes at andre gæster nævner er at bygningen som lejligheden ligger i trænger til en stor istandsættelse.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Sonnenaufgang auf der Terrasse und der Ausblick ein Traum. Angelo hat sich schnell und gut gekümmert und auch einen sehr freundlichen Fahrer für den Transfer vom und zum Flughafen organisiert. Auf dem Europaplatz vor dem Haus ist auch Nachts einiges los, aber dank der Höhe der Wohnung ist das nicht störend. Die Nahverkehrsanbindung ist dank des Bahnhofs „Europa“ und AMTS-Bussen (die allerdings hin und wieder einfach vor dem Eintreffen an der Haltestelle - obwohl angekündigt - verschwinden und man so deutlich länger warten muss) gut. Auch eine U-Bahn Station ist in der Nähe. Um Catania kennen zu lernen muss man also kein Auto ausleihen. Einen Tipp von dem netten Transfer-Fahrer geben wir gerne weiter. Pasticceria Verlora & Bonvegna, Via Asiago 60 (also ganz in der Nähe). Unbedingt hingehen: Ein Törtchen-Genussparadies!

We stayed 7-nights and found Marco's apartment was spacious, had a properly furnished living room, a separate dining room with a table set for 10 adults, and a well-equipped kitchen. Its location, just a 5-to-10 minute walk from most Histórico attractions, is excellent for visitors intent on exploring Catania's urban center. The inclusion of a dedicated parking space in a nearby parking lot is an absolute bonus. A 2-person elevator eases access to the 3rd floor apartment. The expansive apartment is capable of accomodating 1-to-3 couples. The 1st sleeping area is a huge private room with windows that open onto the street, the 2nd sleeping space is an open loft that's perched above the living room area, and the 3rd sleeping space is on an upper floor and is accessed by climbing a narrow spiral staircase. While we absolutely enjoyed observing the sometimes raucous urban life that unfolded every evening below the apartment, some guests may find it difficult to sleep.

Wonderfull little apartment in the middle of Catania, walking distance from all the ”must see’s”, train and busses. 20 min from the airport. Perfect for two people, hanging out in the ciry or go around by train in the rest of Sicily! Really good hosting and made our stay even more fantastic!

Perfect apartment, perfect location and perfect host! If you are coming to Catania, look no further, this is the place to stay. We dealt with Nicolo’s mother Elisa - a more lovely person you will not meet. She was friendly, communicative, proactive and just a genuinely nice person. The apartment was very well located, quiet, comfortable and had the added touches that made it feel like a home. We will certainly recommend to anyone. Grazie mille Elisa!

Casa Lionessa, the location and the communication with Chiara was above my expectations. The view from of the bay and Mt Etna from the sunny terrace both day and night was spectacular and being across the road from the gorgeous park and moments from restaurants, bars and the Bam Bar made this an ideal romantic holiday location. The support I received from Chiara when my lugguage was lost by the airline was amazing. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Veronica was a great host! She was very communicative and provided helpful instructions. It took us a little bit to figure out the locks on the doors, but that was just an operator error on our part - just mentioning it to say that if you don't think it's working at first, just keep trying and you'll figure it out. The space was fantastic! Everything was clean and as expected. The two terraces were absolutely perfect, the best outdoor space of our whole trip! The location was also great. Walking distance to the city center and many of the local sights. It was also very quick and easy to get to the airport after our stay. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to Catania and highly recommend it for anyone when they visit!
