A fantastic and remote place to recharge! From the moment that Marguerite introduced me to her cabin I felt right at home. The front porch view of the pond was just what I needed to relax after a 4 day conference in Houston. When I return to Texas another stay at the Fossil Tree will be on my today list.

By far our favorite airbnb stay yet. They had everything and then some, was perfect for our family of 3. The pool was excellent even for our 2 year old to play in at a safe level. Loved coming back to a little surprise to give the chickens, our daughter’s favorite thing about the whole stay. The place was immaculately clean, had water, juice and coffee for us. I can’t say enough amazing things! We would stay here every time we’re in the area

Great little hidden gem right on the water! Such a neat caboose decorated so adorable! Our daughter loved the caboose and fishing off the dock! Very peaceful and excellent host. We enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend
