Vacation rentals with breakfast in Markdorf

The overnight stay with Vanessa's family was great, I was warmly welcomed and felt comfortable right away. Everything was taken care of, the location is great, quiet and spotless - and the breakfast lovingly prepared, even with homemade jam. Bonus were cuddle units with the family dog!

I stayed with Michaela for 3 days as part of a seminar and I did not regret not staying on the island in an accommodation. Michaela is a great woman who pays a lot of attention to her guests and at the same time leaves enough space for them. You immediately feel at home with her. I felt at home and cozy. The room is large and comfy. The garden is beautiful. And the family is fun and friendly. So is the dog Chipsy. The neighborhood is peaceful. The train station is close by and the whole town is walkable. It's also perfect for an extended stay and trips to the mountains (about 1 hour away) and to the Bodensee (about 30 minutes away).

Christoph and Katrin's house is wonderful. It was even nicer than the photos (very rare!). The house is big and spacious, with very comfortable rooms and lots of places to hang out. The garden is beautifully maintained, private and inviting. The pool was amazing - it was over 30C when we were there so spent a lot of time in the pool which is clean and well maintained. The house is very stylish period house, with mid century furniture and relaxing atmosphere. It was very clean and tidy. There were enough towels left for us (and spares) and clean bed linen on all the beds. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking in, with lots of utensils. There is more than enough cutlery, plates, glasses etc. The garden has some lovely furniture including deckchairs and a shaded dining set. There is a separate BBQ area with a good grill available and a enough space to sit a whole group. There is ample parking on the street outside. In short, we LOVED it and would love to come back.

Simon and Sabrina are very attentive, yet unobtrusive hosts. You immediately feel comfortable. Super nice place to stay, furnished with a lot of heart. I really appreciated and enjoyed the wonderful surroundings and the proximity to St. Gallen. I look forward to another time. Thank you both!

Quiet, very spacious room, private shower/bathroom and small kitchen in the room. Breakfast was full and individual. Gertrud Betz and her husband were very friendly - I immediately felt welcome. Christine and her family were very accommodating, kind and helpful. We as a family (11 people), felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the accommodation.

I was allowed to stay with Margrit for four nights. I really enjoyed it. Margrit was very open, accommodating and friendly. I appreciated the muesli breakfast, the private bathroom and the proximity to the train station. Thanks Margrit for your warm hospitality!

Martina is a very friendly and helpful hostess who has gone to great lengths to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The room with bathroom is nicely decorated and very clean. Breakfast was sumptuous and varied. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rita and Heinz's place. The B&B absolutely exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, tidy, well maintained and guided with a lot of love. The rooms were quiet, the beds very comfortable and especially the bedding very pleasant. We had very interesting conversations with Heinz and he gave us some great tips for the area. We will be happy to come back next time we are in this region.

I arrived really late in the evening and they were very kind to send me a video of the building entrance, how to find my room and the location of all the shared amenities (shower, dining room, etc). (Of course I don't know if it is always possible to check in at such a late time as I did). The breakfast was also good!

Hildegard offered us a place to stay very spontaneously and even surprised us with a dinner. From the first to the last moment of the stay, Hildegard has done everything to make you feel comfortable.... There was nothing missing. Very nice old house with special atmosphere, above the lively Rhine Valley you will find welcome peace here. We'll be happy to come back. Best regards :-)
