In the heart of Salento, close to the most important seaside resorts as Castro, Santa Cesarea, Santa Maria di Leuca, Otranto and other breath-taking Salento baroque places we rent out a very typical ancient (late XVII century) and bright vault apartment, all restored, around 100 squared meters big, situated in a very old courtyard dating back to the XVII century. The apartment has a brand new modern kitchen, a bathroom with tub, two huge bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two single bed, though we are about to buy a sofa-bed, a living room with tv. The house is very fresh during summertime due to the very old and thick load-bearing walls. The apartment is very quiet and peaceful. A private parkplace is also included for free. The apartment still preserves the charme of the past, keypoint in the process of restauration,yet mixed with modernity like the kitchen and the bathroom. Villa "Le Pajare" is located in the immediate outskirts of Acquarica di Lecce, in a very quiet residential area, surrounded by olive trees and about 300 meters from the town center and 3 km from the renowned white beaches that are reflected in a crystal clear and pristine sea. A charming little house is situated in the oldest bit of Marittima a pretty village set on a hill looking down towards the crystal clear waters of the Sea. Marittima consists of two bars a family run Trattoria and a small local shop for buying fresh groceries. The house is on two floors ,whitewashed with high vaulted ceilings and plenty of light,tastefully decorated in a minimalist style. Walking distance to the cove of Acquaviva and a minutes car drive down the unspoilt Salento coastline.

The apartment, on two levels, is located on the second floor (62 STEPS WITHOUT ELEVATOR) of a 16th century noble building, located between the two main streets of the historic center and enjoys, from the windows of the living room, a wonderful view of Piazza Duomo. It consists of an entrance hall, living room, two bedrooms, dining room, kitchen, two bathrooms and a furnished terrace (70 sqm) at the kitchen level, from which you can enjoy the view of the bell tower and the old town.

Not suitable for those with mobility difficulties and, due to its peculiarities, for groups of children.
